The point here is that, once again, the right tends to make these broad brush strokes implying that Islam is not a religion that embodies liberal principles and therefor it is bad.
Islam is NOT a religion that embodies liberal principles.
Islam means "submission". Liberal thought is focused on liberty, especially as it applies to the individual person. Personal liberty and submission are mutually exclusive.
I'd appreciate it if you could name a single belief of Islam that can be viewed as liberal.
Oh, I'm still waiting for you to name one thing beneficial to the US that WE got from the Iran deal.
You skew the issue. If you hold religious beliefs of any sort, then by your own definition you are submissive to the tenets of said religion. If Christian. you have no personal liberty as you must submit to not stealing, murdering, coveting your neighbor's wife, etc. The purpose of all religion is to restrict and govern behavior.
I think you mean that personal liberty and religion are mutually exclusive.

No, no, no. There weren't multiple references, analogies or detours concerning Carthage, Sparta or any other antiquity, let alone even one. Just a cold, harsh accurate mocking of the NYT.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Well, I will just say again. Trump could supposedly vindicate himself immediately by ordering the release of the FISA warrant and the application the FBI submitted to the court. Both could be made public in hours. If Andy McCarthy is correct, the warrant relied on the Steele Dossier and nothing else. Total vindication for Trump. He has not done so and apparently has no interest in doing so. He prefers to instead rant about "Deep State" actors working against him and pushing innuendo. This is a point McCarthy himself has raised in the past.
If there's a good argument as to why Trump cannot order the release of those docs then I'm open to hearing about it.
"Since taking office I have been very strict on Commercial Aviation. Good news - it was just reported that there were Zero deaths in 2017, the best and safest year on record!"
Good articles Talent. If you have a chance read the Kim Stossel article I posted. Civil Service reform dovetails completely with the Trump meme that the "Deep State" controls the government.
