  • So if Sessions perjures himself, it's suddenly legal if we perceive Putin as wanting HRC to be president? That's just complete nonsense.

The only lawbreaking we know of that is fact vis-a-vis the Russians is the DNC and the Hillary campaign paying for the Buzzfeed dosier that you were so orgasmic about. We also have facts to prove that Hllary's campaign arranged it so that her donors who were limited to a $ 2,700 donation to the Hillary campaign instead donated $ 353,000 each to the DNC which Hillary controlled through a seruptitois agreement cut with Debby Blabbermouth Schultz. That is a violation of campaign finance law. It is pretty rich to hide behind "these people broke the law." when Hillary and Bill have committed many felonies since the 1980s.

And, I note you said ".... has no bearing on whether these people broke the law or not..." Who are "these people"?

          again

You basically admit you cannot see why Putin would prefer Trump over Hillary, so now it becomes "it doesn't matter what Putin thinks...". My friend, that is all that matters, because with no motive, it is a lot more difficult to prove a crime, if there was a crime.

You have given only one answer since the election that actually made sense. You said that Trump's election had "set the movement back". That is the real reason you hate him, because you are a Marxist.

DSL: you want to give it a try? Why would Putin prefer Trump over Hillary given what each candidate was proposing during the election?

Anyone care to speculate why Trump hasn't imposed the Russian sanctions imposed by law?

              simply not true.

“Yet despite its problems,” he added, “I am signing this bill for the sake of national unity. It represents the will of the American people to see Russia take steps to improve relations with the United States. We hope there will be cooperation between our two countries on major global issues so that these sanctions will no longer be necessary.”

Can we speculate instead why you didn't know he has imposed them?

              • Signing a bill is not the same as imposing the sanctions in the bill.

                    • The first deadline was 10/1, they may be dragging their feet in the additional sanctions but this is still pretty early. It appears Congress will have to be diligent in pushing the administration to do as the law says.

                      • Top Senate Republicans are pledging to find out if the White House is intentionally delaying new sanctions on Moscow as the Trump administration is several weeks past a congressionally-imposed deadline to identify top Russian officials involved in political cybermeddling.

I guess once he got called out for stalling he eventually did what the law required him to do a month prior.

                        • A big deadline is in 2/2018, the Trump admin is supposed to submit a report on Russian Oligarchs. This is a way to freeze their assets or ban them.

                            • When Geezer asks why Putin wanted Trump and points out inconsistencies between some foreign policy issues. It was and still is always about sanctions and schadenfreude, they didn't like Hillary Clinton or Obama and the sanctions always threaten the hold on power for Putin.

The sanctions threaten the the Oligarchs and the Oligarchs keep his hold on power. DJT is very dependent on that Russian money for his businesses. It's not a hard concept.

Well, we have one taker on the Prog-Challenge. Prove what you just said.

Has it now become traitorous to deal with Russians in the sale of upscale condos? I'm sure there are multitudes of Hillary's banking friends who did the exact same thing. I'm not even sure it is legal to turn down a foreign purchaser who wants to pay for something that is for sale on the open market at an advertised price.
