  • Jon, I read that same article over breakfast this morning. What really surprised me is that Tennessee has resorted to such tactics because their season ticket base has shrunk by about 10,000 over the past decade. I wonder if empty seats will start cropping up in Knoxville.

    • Have to keep the fan base engaged.

I have no doubt that DB knew w/i weeks of getting the keys to his office that RR was going to be fired.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

      • Might agree but it was very clear that even during the start of M's losing streak in FB that DB wouldn't give RR the littlest bit of support. Meanwhile he's praised his basketball coach at every opportunity (and deservingly.)

        • Way off topic, but another WWII heroine has passed away. If you ever need a book for a long plane flight or a cruise, I recommend Nancy Wake's autobiography The White Mouse.

Top 35 running backs in the 2007 recruiting class - where are they now?
Apologies in advance for cluttering up the board with this crap.

There is a Husker recruit at #55 - amazing how that ended up playing out.

                          • Good to know, but don't bring too many red-clad friends with you! I'm just guessing, but I expect to see half the state of Nebraska crossing the Michigan border via I-94 from mid-week on, leading up to their first game at The Big House.

Seeing that many, many Husker fans will come to Ann Arbor looking for tickets, the laws of supply-and-demand will make that game be one PRICEY ticket!
