Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season
Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.
Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

Correct. Only the Feds could deal with Indians or make laws affecting Indian land. The ruling didn't prevent the Feds from seizing their land, but did prevent states from doing it.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

I would assume basic property rules governed re personal individuals. The State of Georgia or any other state couldn't do it after the Worcester decision. However, in terms of enforcement, I think you need, at a minimum, a Court order concerning your particular parcel of property before any enforcement obligations arise. The government isn't going to enforce shit on someone's say so.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

We'll see what happens with the health care vote. If you take even half the sob tweets this morning literally, regular people are going to die by the thousands so rich people can get a tax cut. At a societal level, that's surely got to be the equivalent of hitting bottom. If things can get worse from there, it's a bit scary to think about where exactly Americans are willing to draw the line and stand up for themselves.

Our dear neighbors to the north canceled an art exhibit in Toronto. The paintings were of Native Americans. The reason for the cancellation? The artist committed cultural genocide. http://www.nationalreview.com/articl...nocide-torontoDan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

The Ds continue to figure out how they were reduced to rubble: http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/poli...147475484.html
It seems like they're leaning more toward persuasion (they lost b/c of defections) than mobilization (get out the base!).
It's interesting because Pelosi was just talking about how she thinks the Ds lost b/c of social issues: http://www.weeklystandard.com/print/...rticle/2007890. The voting data suggests she's more likely than not correct, as HRC suffered significant defections amongst Evangelicals in Michigan, Wisconsin and Florida that cost her dearly : http://www.nationalreview.com/corner...on-white-house
Hopefully the activists stay in the limelight for the Ds and lead them forward.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Oh, my bad. I'll let you and hack get back to one-upping each other on the awfulness of DJT. Didn't mean to disrupt the prog zeitgeist.
Wait, one more....the root of the prog rage: https://pjmedia.com/rogerlsimon/2017...gressive-rage/Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
