      • I got a good look at Emporia State's athletic facilities yesterday...its amazing to see the quality of infrastructure that even a DII school has these days. Everything was modern and in good condition, with a major makeover for the football locker room upcoming.

Great fucking show. Angel and Firefly too. Firefly only getting one season is maybe the 2nd greatest cancellation travesty in the last couple of decades of TV.

Blame that on Marvel pretty much tying his hands with a formula that he had to follow. Consider that Age of Ultron had to do the following:

                1) Have a major thing (usually action) every ten minutes
                2) Have Banner/Stark create Ultron
                3) Introduce and establish Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Vision
                4) Required romance between Black Widow/Hulk
                5) Give reasonable reasons for Thor and Hulk to leave the team at the end of the movie.
                6) Establish Ultron as a threat
                7) Give Hawkeye backstory so he can retire.
                8) Backstory of Widow as well.

I will be very interested to see what he does with Batgirl

                  • When will celebrities learn that real Americans don't care what they think about anything outside Hollywood? Just entertain us!!

                    • The disturbing thing is that a fairly large number of American's get their news, form their opinions and vote for particular candidates from watching Entertainment Tonight.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Captain America: Civil War didn't nearly have to do as much heavy lifting as Avengers: AOU did.

                            No it didn't.

Avengers:AOU set up the following movies:

                            1) Civil War: You have fracturing between Steve and Tony over what to do with the Vision. The final battle.

                            2) Black Panther: The introduction of Klaw

                            3) Infinity War: Tony Stark's vision.

                            4) Thor 3: Heimdell telling Thor is going to led them to Hel. Also having the Hulk disappearing since had to be off the board for Thor 3.

Avengers: AOU is just a much bigger story to tell than we see in Cap 3:CW. And in all honesty it should be. Now Cap 3 is a better movie, but they are helped because it is a smaller story.

                            • Disagree. More juggling of concepts and relationships done in CW.

Regardless, AoU was typical goofy Whedon shit. Its stale.
