Sanders isn't proposing nationalizing anything. He's not a socialist, unless you want to redefine the word to the extent that it's no longer a meaningful word.

He kind of embraced the term though. If the word is getting redefined in the debate, he is part of the movement to redefine the term.

It seems like most of the embrace of the term is more of an embrace of "socialist" democracies like the Scandinavian countries.
