Yeah, I think there is just a big floodlight pointed right around the hoop. Definitely a nice setup, but well worth it if you think your kid is going to have the possibility of garnering a Div 1-A basketball scholarship!

ESPN has updated their H.S. Senior rankings.
Mitch McGary has dropped from #2 to #21, GR III has moved up to #26. I think he was #52 in the last ESPN ranking. Nik Stauskas moves up from #83 to #79.
McGary has not put up great numbers so far this season but his team is stocked with high Division 1 talent. At least in his last game, he did have a nice showing with 15 points and 14 rebounds. A lot of people have tried to pick an NBA player whose game is similar to his. I'm starting to think Joakim Noah might be an accurate one, bringing energy, very good D and some above average but not all-world O.
GR III is turning into more and more of a stud and I expect him to be even better than Tim Hardaway Jr. I think he is more of an elite athlete and just does everything Tim does but just a little better, save maybe the 3 point shot. Hard to say with Timmay's struggles behind the arc over the last several weeks.
Stauskas can shoot the lights out and be a bit of a playmaker for others.
All 3 are going to be impact players.

Also, Noah has one of the ugliest looking FT's in the history of the game (it has sidespin) so that % is actually impressive for him.
Certain parts of McGary's game don't match up with Noah but the energy part of the game is there and I have a feeling he could get under opponents' skin, ala Joakim. I would be VERY pleased if McGary did at Michigan what Noah did while at Florida.
