Sort of. Mitch was originally classified in the 2011 class but went for an extra year in prep school to improve his grades. He's actually eligible to enter the 2012 draft.

      I agree.
I said a while back that I think he will wind up playing in the McDonald's All-American game.

      • That would be a good thing for both the NBA and college (the 2-year rule). Heck, I wish they would make it 3-years like football does.

        • Mitch is going to make his announcement live on ESPN Thursday.

The Mitch McGary recruitment is finally reaching an end. Scout.com’s Brian Snow first reported ($) that plans have been made for McGary to announce his college decision on Thursday. • This could be Beilein's signature class, should McGary commit. I hope he does.

                Still nervous about Dook

                      • The blog sounds positive for us. I hope we get him. The program right now is at a point where a shot in the arm like that could really make it take off again. That, combined with the opening of the new basketball facilities, the remodeling of Crisler, and the group of returning players, is a great combination of events coming together at once.

Well, they lost to Michigan (twice, including the game at Breslin) and they checked out in the first round of the NCAA's. Izzo supposedly has a "great" team returning, but they're going to be hearing footsteps all year long.

                              • Twice. And Izzo won't stop flirting with the NBA. One of these days he's gonna jump, and then we're just going to have a ball crushing Sparty. The coming decade is going to be hellaciously fun as far as that specific rivalry is concerned.
