Michigan's class is now ranked #3 nationally and #1 in the B1G but it's early. Almost all of the top-30 players are uncommitted. I'd say this class as it is is on par with your average Beilein class. Also, Bufkin and Barnes may both rise into that top-70 range (Bufkin is already rated #61 for Rivals and #62 for ESPN and Barnes is at #84 for 247/Scout) plus Tschetter could move up a few spots.
Juwan will likely add another 2-4 players. With the really good foundation he has, it's time to ramp it up even more and land at least one of those top-20 guys.
Also, there is some AAU action going on this summer. Not top-level comp here but here's some Will Tschetter highlights. Also, I've found out his last name is pronounced like "cheddar".
One of Michigan's 2021 targets, Quincey Allen (#48) committed to Colorado today. Also, one of Michigan's 2022 targets, Caleb Houstan, reclassified to the Class of 2021. Also, the number 1 overall recruit Jonathan Kuminga, opted to go pro. So, the 3 guys we're chasing in the top 5 moved up a spot and Houstan jumps in at #6.
Cleveland to FSU and Crystal Balls are coming in for Brizzi to Villanova. There are some other guys on the radar that haven't been offered. Big man Nate Bittle, the #9 player and PG Carter Whitt at #72.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that Michigan made Jaden Aikens' final 6.
Several Crystal Balls coming in for Peyton Watson to stay in SoCal and go to UCLA. Nothing official yet but it looks like another one offer will be off the list.
We offered Carter Whitt, made Harrison Ingram's final 6, but it also looks like Jalen Warley is seriously trending towards FSU. He's set to announce on the 9th.
