  • What positions do Johnson and Alstork play, Oracle? We need a point guard. Does the transfer of A. Dockich mean we have two open scholarships, or just one?

    • Both Johnson and Alstork are 2G. Dakich leaving does not free up a schollie since he was a walk on.

        • Saw him play live a bunch last year. He did a lot of late shot-clock creating from nothing there. Decent player. But Howard doesn't run much of an offense. It's hard to imagine he could go from that to Beilein's.

          • Michigan is showing interest in Class of 2018 forward Pete Nance, another one of Larry Nance's kids. Some people have him listed at 6'10". He's pretty thin but looks pretty talented too. He has Michigan in his top 3, along with the nuts and NW.

            • Any comb Nance/Ignas/Hunter/Johns (my order of preference) at the wings and Ryan/Bienemy/Carmody at the 2 to go with DeJulius would be a really good fucking class.

We'll lose MAAR, Duncan and Simmons for sure and likely lose both DJ and Mo to the NBA. I also wouldn't be surprised if a guy like Teske transfers. It's a big recruiting year.

                    • 6'7" 2018 wing Ignas Brazdeikis was offered yesterday. Apparently, his stock is rising after a great Nike EYBL camp.

He's from Canada and has a connection with Nikki Buckets:

Canadian wing Ignas Brazdeikis opened the Nike EYBL with a huge weekend and added a Michigan offer. He also has a relationship with a former Wolverine.

                      • Highlights from last month. He looks pretty solidly built for a 16 or 17-year old. Not a rail.:

Poole is now #48 for ESPN and Livers #72. Their 247 composites are much lower so somebody doesn't like them nearly as much.

                          • Lotta people think we less for both Nance and Hunter. Both top 50 types that would compliment DeJulius perfectly. Hopefully we can lock both down by end of the summer.

                              • Hunter more than nance, but yes.
