Michigan rallies with 3 goals in the 3rd to beat North Dakota 4-3!! Michigan didn’t look like they deserved to be on the same ice as NoDak through 40 minutes but dominates the 3rd. Shots were 14-1 at one point. UND scores late to make it stressful but we hung on.

Michigan vs. Sparty Sunday at 6:30 for a trip to the Frozen Four! Let’s Gooooo!!!

FROZEN FOUR BOUND!!

Michigan got the result they deserved last weekend with a 5-2 SHELLACKING of Sparty. With 4 third period goals on Easter Sunday it’s pretty clear that god hates Michigan State, and rightfully so.

Michigan will face #1 overall seed Boston College in St. Paul in 11 days.

If for some unexplainable reason you missed the game, it is a MUST that you find the Nazar to Brindley goal that put us up 4-2. Sparty tied the game 2-2 with about 9 minutes left on a wide open PP goal. Michigan responded with two goals in a span of 12 seconds, the 2nd of which is one of the prettiest goals I’ve ever seen. If I get a good clip with replays I’ll post it.

Michigan swept the 2 game weekend series.

Cornell off to a good 3-0-1 start. Swept North Dakota last weekend.

Men's Hockey got a SO "win" last night at Wisconsin, after dropping Friday's game 5-4. They let a lead slip away on Friday and almost repeated the effort Saturday, before getting the extra point for a shootout win. I'm sure Mike knows more about what's going on with the team than I do. Maybe he can add his thoughts.

Overall, the team is 14-10-2, and 8-3 at home. Penn State comes to Yost next weekend for a 2 game set.

Michigan's Men's Hockey also had a good weekend. On Friday, they defeated #4 Minnesota by a score of 3-2 in OT. On Saturday they got a shootout win and thus the extra point for a 4-point weekend.

The Wolverines finish the regular season at OSU on Feb 27 and 28.

I believe they earned 5 out of a possible 6 points this weekend. The OT winner on Friday goes down as a “regular” win and they technically “tied” on Saturday but earned the extra point in the shootout.

There are 6 total classifications of outcomes now and I stopped trying to figure out the points calculations.
