Michigan had an NCAA record 7 first round draft picks and 2 2nd rounders. The 2021 NHL draft selected Michigan players 1, 2, 4, 5 overall. AND we had a very good goalie.
I didn’t really mind that the football team was outclassed by Georgia. That’s where we rate. But this…. This is shameful. Not because of the loss but because of why they lost. Denver had more heart, they hit the shit out of Michigan, they blocked shots, and wanted it more.
Even when Michigan controlled the play they didn’t create quality scoring chances. I’ve never seen a team do less with more. The coaching staff needs to look in the mirror. That performance was shameful and embarrassing. Denver waltzed in and took our lunch money.
This was a Natty or bust season. Off the top of my head I think of that Zion Williamson Duke team from a few years ago or the 93 UM basketball team. Hockey-wise, the ‘97 team that was #1 all year when Morrison won the Hobey.
Fuck man. Just fuck.

Yeah, sucks that the good guys lost. Denver deserved the win. It hurts that we could have still pulled it out, particularly in the first couple of minutes in OT. But you're right Mike, Denver just wanted it more.I don't watch Fox News for the same reason I don't eat out of a toilet.Comment
