a whole buncha penalties being dished out right now...Gupkill might get in deeper trouble than the rest after lightly but distinctly spearing a Miami player who had taken a punch at him, you just can't retaliate like that with your stick. Hope we don't lose him for a game, with spartie up next in a week...Comment

All games now final, Michigan moves up to sole possession of 3rd place by sweeping Miami!
Top 8 teams in the CCHA are all bunched up within 6 points of each other, as spartiii sneaks back into the race by sweeping ohio.

We travel to the land of smoldering furniture next week, with a game @ Munn vs. msu Friday, then another vs. spartiii at Joe Louis Arena on Saturday evening.
