It’s going to be funny when that Detroit Twitter account has to root for Jack Sawyer after the Lions draft him. Careful who you pick on. Sawyer was incredible and his unit didn’t lose The Game.
Random thought when thinking about Chip Kelly/ Ryan Day’s astonishing game plan to heavily run the ball up the middle vs Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant… I will always remember 2006 Patriots at Vikings. A big prime time game when Brady’s Patriots had to deal with a spooky Vikings DLine. Do you know what the Patriots did to work around that DLine? Threw the ball 40+ times and abandoned the run. They also smoked the Vikings in that game. Genius Chip Kelly would never based on that dumbassed game plan…. All Ohio State had to do was take many deep shots vs the shaky M secondary. Oh don't get me wrong. I'd love for the Lions to take Sawyer. He's a great player.
One of the toughest Buckeyes I've ever seen ended up playing for the Lions and had a great career.

To clarify my previous point. OSU’s offensive game plan should have been: 2020 MSU Rocky Lombardi vs M. Launch moon balls and score TDs + huge plays. It would have worked IMO.
Chip Kelly needs to be investigated for his baboonery.

It's like Day/Kelly felt that if they only ran Judkins up the middle enough times eventually a miracle would occur and he'd break off a 55-yard TD run.
The possession immediately after we got the ball on Michigan's 16 resulted in no yards and us missing the field goal. One of the worst possessions all year, I'd imagine.Comment

I don't know what the pressure metric was for M but when Howard dropped back and set up, he looked confused by M's coverages. He'd bolt when his pressure alarm would go off. I think I read somewhere that he has the best completion rate rolling out under pressure in CFB. Man it didn't look like that IMO. Thus, the passing game couldn't complement the run game and move the chains.
In the 2 minute drive to close out the 1st half, 5 tempoed straight passes and a nice throw to an uncovered TE in the endzone to Knot the game at 10. OSU looked great. There was none of that in the second half. Pound the rock on 1st and 2nd down leads to a 3rd and long followed by a pass incompletion and a 4th down punt.
