That was quite an exceptional win. I've seen many a good Michigan go into Pauley Pavilion and get whipped. I think even the great Cazzie Russell's team went in there and got beat.

MWBB, MMBB not something I follow. But today I watched my first full MBB game played at home against Washington. It was another 91-72 drubbing by a BT team against the new guy PT teams who are competing now in one of the best leagues in CBB. MBB is now 5-0 in conference play and 10-3 overall. Dusty May has been somewhat of a savior in making MBB competitive again following a very bad 5y run with Juan Howard as HC ..... great former fab-five M star, great guy, terrible coach. I like winning sports teams. I think I'll start paying attention M's BB programs.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

They seem to be a very solid team. May is for sure the savior of this program which had fallen off the cliff with Howard at the end of last season. He pulled things together nicely. Hit the portal and got some top notch players, and he's done well in recruiting. He has Michigan's Mr. Basketball coming in the fall. He seems to be a young version of John Beilein. I don't think he's even gotten a technical foul yet so far this season. About the only fault I could find with them was that they got beat on the offensive boards (8-11) and they missed several free throws down the stretch.
And Michigan is still not drawing a lot of national attention. That's good.

Michigan is 13-3 and their 3 losses are by a combined 5 total points and blew big leads in two of them. The main thing is the 5-0 record in the conference with 3 road wins including Wisconsin and UCLA. Those are great wins to have in their pocket. Michigan is currently #10 in Kenpom and #11 in NET. If the tourney started today they'd likely be a 3 seed which is an amazing turnaround for a team that won all of 8 games last season.

Bah ... the team lost last night in Minnesota in OT on a last second trey. Minny was 0-6 in the conference, but apparently had their best shooting night of the season.
It sucks. But you can't overlook anyone in the conference. Road games are tough no matter who it is or what their record is. Danny Wolf scored 23 in the loss.
Michigan returns to Crisler on Saturday to take on Northwestern.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle

That game was horseshit. The more I watch Michigan play, the more I realize it's Wolf, Vlad, and a bunch of scrubs. In the 4 losses, Michigan has blown leads of 13, 15, 11, and 11. Making the tourney would be a great 1st year for Dusty May.

I didn't get to watch the game, but from accounts I've read Michigan had a buttload of turnovers, and Minny took advantage of all of them. That's been a season-long bugaboo.
You're right, Mike they can't let big leads disappear, and sometimes when a guy hits the portal its because he just wasn't good enough for his previous team.
At least they're better than last year.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
