Almost the entire team is unrecognizable when compared to last season. Transfer portal contributors from numerous places. Yet it’s working do to competence at coaching. It makes the Juwan era so frustrating to think about because he had talented players… especially the 2022/2023 team (Dickinson’s last season). A country club culture and awful coaching led to disappointments. We were right about wanting Juwan gone.

    Go Blue and Dusty May!

Hell yeah! I wanted to watch that one but don't currently subscribe to Peacock. That's a huge win and puts Michigan back on the map. Wisconsin was ranked #11 going in.

I'm not as invested in M's Basketball program as I am the football program. But, I made a halfway effort to shift focus to B-ball and hockey and away from the terribly disappointing, somewhat self inflicted, transition from Harbaugh to Moore. That was then. Now with the program's ascending recruiting that has brought (or should I say has bought) Bryce Underwood in and way the football team finished the regular season, mostly on the backs of a terrific defense and special teams, I'm back on board.

OTH, the basketball program may be similar to IU's ascendancy to the top 10 football programs that went 10-1 in the regular season with Dust May, like Cignetti formerly at James Madison, teleporting staff and players from FAU. May seems also to have skills in picking transfers that fit into the kind of basketball he wants to play. Anyway, nice win v. the 11th ranked Badgers.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Tough game with the Hawkeyes, but M hangs on for the win today at Crisler Center.

M is now 8-1 on the season (they had 8 wins ALL of last season) and they are still undefeated in conference play.

Next on the schedule is Arkansas on Tuesday.
