I wouldn't say IU is mediocre but their second half offense was atrocious. OSU should beat them but if UNL can push the Nutz in C-bus I'm pretty sure IU can.

I think Talent could chime in here and note that the Buckeyes are not a complete NC contending team. IU will give them a run next weekend.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

And one other thing.
For those calling for Moore to be fired at the end of the season.
Michigan has had 21 Head football coaches. NONE have ever been fired after just one season. There were a couple of coaches (George Little and Langdon Lea) back in the stone ages who left after one year on their own to take other positions elsewhere. None were "fired".
Its not happening to Sherrone Moore.
This team's most glaring problem is at the Quarterback position, and stems from Jim Harbaugh's failure to back fill the position, knowing that JJ was leaving, and no suitable replacement was available. Its not as though Sherrone Moore had a 5-star warming up in the bullpen.
M would be best served to focus on getting a QB in the portal, who can come in and fill the gap until Hart arrives.

IU has a bye week to fix their issues. I would bet on the Buckeyes to win, but ya never know. First time IU has a legit shot since Tevin Coleman popped off on the Buckeyes D in Columbus.

I don't see 2 ACC or 2 B12 getting in.
So Oregon, OSU, IU and PSU are pretty safe I think.
If not ND maybe ACC or B12 can sneak in a second team in.
Random observation: Deion’s Colorado sneakily hanging around and could get in. I have no idea what the B12 2 loss tiebreaker is, but that team is lining up to play BYU for the #4 seed. BYU… basically 2022 TCU.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

And one other thing for those wanting to clean house and get rid of all Michigan's coaches, due to this year's results.
Lets suppose this:
Its January, right after M wins the natty. Harbaugh decides he's gone. But, JJ looks around in the QB room, and says, "Dang, if I leave, these guys have no QB". So, instead of declaring for the NFL draft, JJ decides to return for his senior year. He says, "You know, I'm really enjoying my college experience, and I need a couple classes to finish my degree, so I'm going to hang around and play one more year of college ball. The NFL can wait".
So, JJ is our QB right now. He's been healthy all year.
What do we suppose that Michigan's record would be right now?
I think at worst, Michigan (with a healthy JJ) is no worse than 8-2 this morning. I think they probably would have still lost the Texas and Oregon games, but the scores would have been a LOT closer.
So if M is at 8-2 this morning, with Sherrone Moore at HC, Tinkerbelle at DC, and Campbell at OC, are we still demanding that M clean house?
---
Point is, the biggest problem with this team right now is at the QB position. These coaches didn't win a NC in January, and then totally forget how to coach. They know how to do it. They've done it. I've used this analogy before:
Michigan's 2024 football team is like sending the firemen to fight a forest fire, with no fire truck, .. instead they're given squirt guns to fight the fire. They can try, but the job is too much.
---
I'm not saying I'm a huge fan of the Moore hiring. I don't think it had to happen. Manuel dropped the ball, and this years' results are on him, more than they are Coach Moore. (IMO)
