Someone needs to check Sherrone's pants for some balls.

Sherrone Moore is not going to be fired in the off season.

He's going to get the standard 3 years. Warde Manuel doesn't have the balls to make a change after just one year.

The seats will still be full on Stadium and Main.

I'd say Stink Martindale is doing a pretty good job today...

Dominate 2nd half for Wink’s D. Very random. Not calling an all-out blitz on 3rd down has helped a little. A long with unexpected players stepping up. Brandt, Guy…

Game deciding drive coming up. M’s offense needs a TD to pull off the shocker.

My gosh Sherrone Moore. The egregious stupidity of that clock management. A 5 year old playing Madden could do better. Inexcusable nonsense. I have been in the “let Moore have at least one more year” camp. That clock management decision hurts my brain so much that it sways me to the “maybe Moore should be fired” camp.

M played better than expected. Kept it close. Wink’s D with a dominate 2nd half out of the blue. Yet, the team goes to a pathetic 5-5 for the season. The passing offense is terrible. Offensive coaching and Sherrone awful. Evan Link shouldn’t be starting at this level.

M’s kicker is incredible too. Hello, NFL.

Before anyone pipes up that this is a "moral victory" or that they "tried hard", please understand that Indiana ain't all that good and will get trucked by OSU.

Losing by only five to an unbeaten team is the worst outcome for those of us who want to see Moore shown the door. Liney is right. Manuel will be encouraged enough to give him another three years.

Well, a decent 2nd half ...... on defense. It took Wink 10 games to get his shit together but he called a defense against a high scoring passing offense that he and his players shut down in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

I'm not at all sure that the pass blocking on the OL isn't the worst I've seen at Michigan in a long time maybe ever. The passing game is further limited by Warren's tendency to give in unnecessarily and bail under pressure causing his accuracy to tank along with M's WRs that have trouble running routes that get them open or advantaging Warren when he scrambles. Hard to play complementary football with the 134th (or whatever it is) offense in the FBS. Really? Yes, really. The D gave the O two huge short fields and both times that resulted in failed 3rd downs inside the 5 and FGs on each. Different game if those two opportunities are TDs instead of FGs.

Even when what looks like a good call in the run game, blockers aren't able to hold blocks long enough to get Mullings or Edwards clean into the second level. Both of them had multiple runs were they were one block away from a big gain that wasn't made. IU was really good at downfield blocking. M's offensive coaches need to look at the tape and learn.

M made it a game in the second half by nearly shutting out Indiana. The box score reveals the throttling of IU's offense in the second half. They had what, 4 sacks in the game probably 3 in the second half. In the final talley, M had more total yards, more plays and more TOP than IU. OTH, they were terribly inefficient and part of that comes from Eric Cambell's play calling and Warren's happy feet. Hanni brought up the question is Moore meddling in the play calls? That might account for some of the offensive chaos.

From what I saw in this game, M should get their 6th win v. NWU following a bye and may be able to be competitive v. Ryan Day's OSU..... and by that I mean not getting blown out in a revenge match engineered by Day to score 50+. He has a bit of Cooper in him and even then, an M win in C-Bus is highly unlikely.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                                At random:

Michigan may have helped Ohio State with Indiana. Lots of film for the bucknuts to look at. Michigan exposed them for the mediocre team they really are. If Indiana could only manage 20 points against Michigan, they have absolutely no chance in Columbus.

A much needed #2 bye week on tap, then the Mildcats come to AA. Last chance to qualify for a bowl game. Maybe they'll play nearby at Ford Field.

And I reiterate, Manuel isn't going to fire Moore because of this season. He's going to get at least 2 more years. And, as Jeff noted, Moore is actually recruiting decently for the future. If he pulls off the Underwood flip, it will take a lot of heat off him. Although I still think Underwood is going to be Devin Gardner 2.0 no matter where he ends up. Detroit DeLasalle made him look very ordinary in the State Finals not long ago.

It'd be nice if Moore could steal Nick Sheridan from Alabama. He's a pretty decent OC.

I wonder if John Harbaugh has any more young defensive coaches with Minter/McDonald experience?

BTW, .. don't look now but Jesse Minter has the #1 ranked defense in the NFL . Yeah... he cheats ...

One last remark about tonight's game ... I guess the team gets a small credit for being within winning distance, late in the 4th quarter. They had a chance to steal, but no QB to pull it off. I guess that's something.
