Oh, the current coaching staff is in way over their head. Campbell was FIRED BY OLD DOMINION two years ago. That guy should be nowhere near the OC position at Michigan.

There’s plenty of blame to go around including timing as it relates to the transfer portal and coaching search.

21-7 is your final. That's the best Michigan could do after a bye week. Illinois didn't have to do much aside from a smartly-executed fake punt. Michigan simply gave this one away with turnovers, poorly-timed penalties, and an offensive game plan that didn't emphasize the one thing this Michigan offense is reasonably good at until they were down 13-0. The changes at OT didn't work, and it's tough to call plays when none of your QBs can see the field or make basic throws.

I knew this was going to be a rebuilding year, and I don't like throwing in the towel on young, inexperienced teams. Growth is painful sometimes. There's going to be more pain this season, but I don't see this team, at least on offense, growing much. No matter what the baseline expectations for your team are, you want to see them playing better in November than September. Michigan is not trending in that direction.

For all you morons that predicted a big M win, you should have listened to me. Glad I didn't have to watch bad football. The wedding was way better.

Oh, Michigan has been in the top 25 for 54 weeks behind Georgia, Alabama and OSU. That ended today. All I have to say is that what's happened to a NC caliber program that has tanked reflects massive roster mismanagement and poor principal coaching staff hires in the transition from Harbaugh to Moore.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Have you seen the Spartans? As bad as you guys might think you have it, the Spartans are worse.

I'd like to see another Covid season forfeit the rest of the games. This coaching makes me sick.

Missing on Dante Moore has hurt this program. He had an up-and-down first year at UCLA last season, but there's no question he'd be starting for this Michigan team. Instead, he's sitting behind Dillon Gabriel at Oregon.

One of the biggest problems Michigan's facing going forward is experience at QB going into next season. Tuttle won't be back. I wanted to see Orji or Warren grow into a credible option going into 2025, but that appears highly unlikely. With the talent Michigan is almost certain to lose after this season, they're going to have to find a productive QB in the transfer portal, or next year is going to look similar to this one.

Just curious who is the next lower QB on the depth chart? At this point the season is lost, so why not give him some reps?

I’ve seen Sparty. They suck too, but they don’t seem anywhere as lost as this Michigan team. They also have a quarterback who, while no great shakes, has at least shown the ability to complete passes to someone with the same color uniform.

finally, as cliche as it sounds, they always find a way to get their best shots in when the two teams are on roughly the same level.

There's a true freshman, (Jayden Davis?)

No, he wouldn't be any better.

Maybe Moore would enter the portal to come back to Michigan. But that's next year. There's no help available this year.

Thank you Warde Manuel. How does your "integrity" feel today?

Recently, somebody here made a case for Davis Warren over making Tuttle QB #1. We'll look back on Moore's many coaching miscues and this one may turn out to be the most costly. It looks like now in hindsight that Moore yanked Warren too soon.

His injuries cost TUttle but he is fundamentally poor QB material. He demonstrated those fundamental QB errors v. Illinois.
There's a reason, beside injuries and COVID why he's in his 7th season as a CFB QB having never been impressive at that job.

Orji is what he is, a big dude who can run, but not fast, and has no feel for the passing game. Add that to the egregious error committed by M's coaching staff of trying to run last year's offense with an an OC, OL and QBs that aren't going to pull that rabbit out of a hat with the talent level in those units. I'm not even talking about M's receiver room - turrible.

None of your quarterbacks are an answer, the answer will come when you they go out in the off-season and spend some quality cash on a good quarterback.

One of the following two things must be true:

                                1. Jaydn Davis is the most overrated bust in the history of college athletics.

                                2. Jaydn Davis should be starting for this team.
