Replay of the NC game but with drastically different teams..I don't see M traveling through 3 time zones for their first away game and getting their shit together to win this one. Too many injuries to starters and questionable game planning and in game play calling. Calling those questionable is being generous.

Washington is not good this year. No DeBoer. No Penix. Lost 10 starters and 29 overall players from last year. That’s why they are 3-2 with losses to Wazzu and Rutgers.
Current line is M -9.5."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

Have the books seen M play its last two games? -9.5? Really? That's nutz..........+3.5 sounds about right.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Is M -9.5 still the line or is Vegas adjusting the opening line? Seems like M -3.5 makes much more sense. Washington played much better than the score indicates vs Rutgers. A couple stupid mistakes and missed opportunities led to the final result. Will Rogers is sneakily playing pretty well.
This game gives me Michigan @ Nebraska 2021 spooky vibes. Night game on the road vs an opponent that can certainly be pesky. M needed a few lucky turnovers to go their way to win that game in the end. Plus Washington players should be extra motivated for revenge. Though both teams are basically entirely new.
If M sneaks out this game and can enter the bye week 5-1, that would be huge. There’s so much progression needed with this team. Getting Will Johnson and a few other players back will be huge. I think Sherrone Moore will lite a fire under this team and it leads to a close win. Defense gets a few turnovers that will setup easier Mullings scores.

I have no idea how anyone can pick Michigan in this one after seeing yesterday's game.
There is no quarterback. On the entire team. They won't even tease going with the freshman. Tuttle is off in some foreign country, never to be heard from again.
Moore was asked about Warren yesterday. He said, "No, we're sticking with Orji".
This is the guy we're stuck with.
Fortunately Jed Fisch is a former M coach and still has good memories of working in A2. He'll take it easy once he gets his points.

After yesterday’s performance, Michigan rose two spots to #10 in the AP top 25. The AP voters know that tough conference games happen and that grittily pulling out a win is what’s most important.

Allegedly being the purveyor of truth, is soundly countered that you don't know shit:
Michigan has opened anywhere from a +1.5 to +2.5 (depending on the book) underdog for their first road game at Washington. Another big swing (like USC) compared to where preseason spreads stood for this which was at -9 or -10 Michigan.
Other B1G spreads:- #6 Oregon -24.5 vs. MSU: a Friday night game
- Minnesota +9 vs.#11 USCL: a similar spread to Michigan-Minnesota but this one’s @ Minnesota)
- #3 OSU -20.5 vs. Iowa
- Wisconsin -13.5 vs. Purdue
- #7 PSU -27.5 vs. UCLA: think they’re regretting joining the B1G?
- Northwestern +12.5 vs. #23 Indiana: IU is undefeated and gets OSU & Michigan but miss out on playing USC, PSU, Oregon, & Illinois. 9WINDIANA? Or… 10WINDIANA?
- Nebraska -6.5 vs. Rutgers: I’ve got a feeling this game will be very interesting and a fun watch
