That onside kick recovery by Minnesota and “offsides” call… oh man.

It’s a miracle that M is 4-1 with their only loss being to #1. So many issues…

    - Coaching. Clock mismanagement and stupid decisions.
    - Passing game has to be the worst or near the worst in division 1. In an era where the rules favor passing the ball. Orji was a little better than last week vs USC, but still pretty bad. WRs are awful and don’t help at all. There was a reason Kirk Campbell was fired at Old Dominion a couple years ago…
    - Wink and his uncalled for blitzes. A worse problem than Don Brown not being able to figure out defense vs crossing routes.

Washington will probably get their revenge next week. These issues are GLARING red flags for future games.

I tried to post a comment like this on the U of M Football forum on Reddit. I made the exact same points. Post was immediately disallowed becuase they want everyone to be a "positive poster".

Censorship is getting worse and worse.

Those are the worst sports fans. Dumbasses. That type of sports fan group also tried to protect Al Avila at peak embarrassment before the Tigers fired him.

Just be HONEST. The delusional stuff is so damned idiotic.

M has obvious red flags that will catch up to them if not corrected. 4-1 record is good, but we have reason to be worried.

Looking at M's remaining schedule, I see sure losses to O$U, Oregon, and Washington. MSU will likely beat them also.

7-5 sucks. How does a program like Michigan not have a top flight coach and a real QB?

That's really mind boggling. There are probably a dozen QBs in Wayne or Washtenaw County High Schools that could step in and be able to do a better job.

They felt they could win every game like last year's Penn State game. You find out real fast, you can't just run 23 straight times vs. everyone and come like roses. It's really great to have a Championship season and it's really bad the next season has to come and make you see how much you didn't prepare for it.

Yes we are unlikely to win the B1G. Just like M.

                        • Horrible ...... it either rained or a misty drizzle was present from start to finish. I had a poncho so kept reasonably dry but it was warm - a good thing - and very humid - you sweat under plastic, non-breathable ponchos.

I have little to say on the game. 4-1 overall and 2-0 BT is nice but this team has one gear. Mulling's legs. The rest of the offense is middling to downright terrible. The defense is suspect and there have been far too many instances of bad in game coaching and play calls.

I'm becoming less and less invested in M football and the prospects of unregulated free agency via the portal and the looming catastrophe that is NIL and the huge legal questions that accompany it. I'm terribly disappointed in the way the M football team was managed through the transition from and selection of a new HC, Harbaugh's departure and the naming of coaching staff. I believe that fateful period was a consequential cluster fuck and you're seeing it's impact in team 144.

I have other plans for several of M's remaining games and am not the least bit concerned about missing them.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                          • This year the team ain’t good and next year’s looking even worse, barring a successful raid of the transfer portal. Everyone worth a half a damn will be gone. What you see against the backup DTs is what you’re going to see all of next year and next year’s offense will be what you see now, sans Mullings and Loveland.

This reminds me a lot of 2008. I expect lots of this year’s starters to be backups next year. The team is both young and largely untalented. It’s at least a three year rebuild.

Could Jaydn Davis possibly be worse?

                            • Speaking of 2008… time to bring Nick Sheridan home… in a few years maybe…

Moore has a huge job in front of him to fix a ton of issues.

Right. I would also add that the appalling lack of discipline is yet another indication of the dropoff in competency of this coaching staff.
