Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season
Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.
Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

Stay classy, coach. You're there to provide impartial commentary about the game.
And it doesn't even involve ohio state.
Once again, you failed while working in a very important position.
You'd also be well served to stay away from the young girls."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

What Howard does IS fun.. ESPN wants him to be a goof ball, and he does it well. Just like Corso.
What Meyer does is pretend to be an impartial observer, but when he talks about Michigan, its always mean spirited, with an osu slant.
He acts like he wishes he was still coaching osu. That's fine, but he's the one responsible for messing that situation up. It certainly wasn't his record against Michigan."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

Liney,
I don’t know why you think they want a color guy to be impartial. I would bet it’s not in his contract. They want views and clicks. Hell, Saban says he is and will be pro-Bama. There is actually a history behind it. From Darrell Royal being pro Texas to Lou Holtz being pro Notre Dame…I could go on, but color guys kinda have a history of it.
But got it. Desmond is just a goof and can yell “Go Blue” but Urban needs to stay professional and impartial."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

The last thing I'd ever expect from Urban Meyer is impartiality and professionalism.
I'll say it this way. When it comes to former osu people as broadcasters, Urban Meyer should take lessons from Kirk Herbstreit.
When it comes to former Michigan people as broadcasters, I'd take Dierdorf's commentary more seriously than I would Howard.

I like Kirk. I have no problem with Urban as a color guy. Or Desmond, either.
Besides Saban, the Bama guys you see are Greg McElroy and Rece Davis (I have heard Mark Ingram is on Fox, but haven’t really seen him). Rece, as host, stays impartial, but as a rule, I like an opinionated color guy. Bring your own bias and fandom into it. Makes it more interesting (to me)."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

It’s so weird seeing those SEC patches on Texas’ uniforms.
I hate it.
Wish we could go back to the10-team SEC of the 1960’s and ‘70’s (yes, fuck Arkie, SoCar, Texas, and Oklahoma)."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
