This is the original Flint style Coney Island. Not the sloppy, soupy chili dog that they serve in Detroit.
Notice the Koegel hot dog. The very best in the state."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

I've tried American, Lafayette and Duly's...and actually Duly's was the best...but doubt I'll ever be in Flint...I've also tried to make my own Coneys...I think they were pretty damn good but there must be something about the shit water in Michigan they cook them in...
Shut the fuck up Donny!

The key is a dry chili sauce. Not the sloppy chili that can be eaten from a bowl. Its an actual meat sauce with very little liquid in it. Trust me, it has way more grease in it than water.
I can't stand it when I order a coney island, and they bring a chili dog with that Hormel looking s**t on it."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

You dissing Hormel? You rat bastage! You don't like Spam?
Heh I agree with you. The sauce has to be thick and not saturate the bun. Need some fresh white onions and yellow mustard. But the chili sauce cannot be like you eat from a bowl.
Liney and Wiz agreeing. Surely is a sign of the Apocalypse...

I served coneys as a side item at the ice cream store I had, and I made the Flint style coney sauce. I used Vidalia onions and French's mustard. And, of course, the Koegel hot dog.
Sold a lot of them."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

As far as the game, I can't really be sure what to expect offensively, since we have no idea who will be at QB. It could be quite exciting if its Orji, and he's as good as billed. Or it could look very similar to last season if Warren (mostly a passer) if he's the guy.
Defensively, I think the looks will be pretty much the same as last season. But since we don't have Coach Stallions, we won't have the advantage of knowing what Fresno is running, so they may actually score a couple points on us.
Night game, first game, probably a few glitches here and there, but probably not enough to give Fresno a win.
With not much to go on, I'll say M wins 34-10. They sometimes tend to be a bit sloppy in openers."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

Due to not having Stallions’ cheat codes, my prediction will go from M 41, Fresno State 13 to M 41, Fresno State 13.
Damn cheating Wolverines. Did you mention they’re a bunch of cheaters? I’m a Michigan fan, so that might make me a cheater too and it has to get me worked up when anyone says cheater.
SHAME. Oh no, Michigan can’t have a clean reputation anymore. I’m offended by it…….AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill
