Re-watching the game last night, in a perfect scheme on the back end, CB Will Johnson switched coverage to S Rod Moore who made a spectacular play against a perfectly thrown deep ball by Milroe. Moore, in perfect position got his hand between the outstretched arm of the receiver and swatted the ball away resulting in an incompletion. On a unit where M went into the season with questions about the DB roster, this unit has proven to be elite. Not going to dig to get the numbers for the season but I suspect you'd see why OCs didn't dial up the deep ball too often.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
Sherrone Moore shows once again that he might be the best play caller in the country right now. We went a long time without being able to say that about a lot of crappy OCs. He has excelled at designing offenses that keep the defense guessing without getting overly cute or putting too much on the players' plates. He knows when it's time to play Tressellball and when it's time to open it up. He's great at uncorking trend breakers and constraint plays at good times. He's great at spreading the ball around when it's necessary, but he's good at riding guys who are hot too. He has a clear offensive philosophy, but he's not willing to flush games down the toilet just to prove a point. The offense doesn't tip plays with formations and it's not overly predictable. We have managed to keep the scoreboard moving in most of our games with a running game that is downright average. Terrific assistant coach. One of the best in the program for a long time. I would say easily our best OC since Gary Moeller was calling our plays I don't know if he's ready to be a head coach at a program like Michigan yet, but he deserves a shot somewhere for sure.

ESPN did nothing but backpedal yesterday on their Michigan narrative and it was fabulous. An all-day apology from all these clowns, the likes of - Stephen A. Smith, Pat McAfee, and Pete Finebaum....ect. Well Fuck You, I just love seeing ESPN eat copious amounts of crow.
Alabama Fans took it well, no trash-talking, excuses, or crying like a baby like Ohio/Sparty and it was refreshing. So many congratulated and said good game and moved on.
Michigan will have its hands full with Washington, but winning the Rose Bowl vs Bama seems even more special than the NC
Im lucky I was drunk during the second half or I think I wouldn't be breathing... This could have been - App State + Trouble With The Snap + JT Was Short…..combined.
