Personally, I wouldn’t touch this game. Bama can suit up and beat anyone - including Georgia - as well as beating LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee and others like that by double-digits. We can also need a miracle 4th and 31 to eke out a miracle win against a tepid Auburn team, struggle by a really awful Arkansas by 3, and a horrible USF by 14.

I like our chances to win, but losing by 10 or 14 wouldn’t shock me, either. I wouldn’t even bet this game with Talent’s money.

I don't know if he'll do it or if it's a good plan but Harbaugh has the tools to force a shoot out. It's out of character but being that way seems to consistently be a key to winning at this level.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

The Dirty Fucking Cheaters are going to struggle on offense. The WRs are meh and the OL is meh. QB and RB very good. Good enough to win the B10, but the SEC ain't that.

The Shithole Cheaters with Numbers on Their Helmets have problems of their own. They do have a tough matchup against M's seconday. Millroe is gads better than he was when they looked like total dogshit against USF, but he's still going to have issues with M's secondary. That said, the Dirty Fucking Cheaters haven't played a truly mobile QB who was any good all year. The Honda McCord may have been the best QB they played. JFC.

Shithole cheaters with numbers on their helmets. That’s a walk down memory lane. That was a great screed. It was fake, but it was so well done, all I can continue to do is tip my cap to the author. Apparently, the guy was who wrote it was a LSU message board guy and it caught fire. Gotta respect it.

Anyway, Bama is flawed. We are the most cohesive true team I’ve seen at Bama since 2009, though. We are definitely better than the sum of our parts. Hopefully, this synergy will continue against the Nation’s #1 team and Vegas line favorite.

I know many people don’t like to bring up past results when predicting the future, but I love history.

M is 3-13 in their last 16 bowl games dating back to 2003 (sucks for me as a millennial M fan). Jim Harbaugh is 1-6 at M and has lost 6 in a row.
Alabama is 16-6 in bowl games under Saban.
Looking at past results, my worry is “less talented” midwest teams getting smoked by the SEC in recent big game bowl history. Excludes Ohio State as they recruit at an elite level.

Going to have to break a trend if winning the Rose Bowl.

Michigan historically does not play well on the West coast. Especially in the Rose Bowl. But, Michigan couldn't have chosen the Sugar Bowl without giving Alabama a de-facto home game. So, its off to the Rose. At least both teams have a good distance to travel.

Saban has quietly honed his team into a NC contender, and he knocked off the big dog in CFB in the process. He knows how to win big games.

My first impression, after looking at the Alabama v Georgia game, is I think Alabama will likely beat Michigan by 7-10 points.

I copied and pasted this off mgboard because it takes a shit-ton of time for me to put this kind of thing together and, no surprise, a guy that's probably in his early 30s and is much more adroit at assembling the data than I am. So credit to whoever "bluesong" is at mgo.

This is where the cutoff is between the teams that have 30+ 5* guys and the teams like Michigan that have 2.
