Just got around to updating the thread title with the final score. We had a dinner engagement that there was no way I could say no to it. Not only that, saying yes, I'll be there, fit my goal of not letting M football run my life. So, we're with friends, non of them football fans except one. Our host had a Hulu Account and with the help on someone who knows the technology we dialed up the game on his phone and casted it to the TV. He and I and one other watched the game. We had TV trays for dinner. No one minded.
I thought M looked dominant in the 2nd quarter and generally was outplaying Alabama. M tanked in the third and I don't know what changed but I'll figure it out. Bama starting moving the chains and went up by 7. It looked like M was done. But totally in character, JJ and the team put together a gain tying drive to take the game into OT. This where the character of this team was on display. On offense and defense, M dominated the Tide to win 27-20
M is going to win it all.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.Comment
