When all the dust settles from this, the haters are going to be very diaappointed. There will be punishment, but not on the scale millions are hoping for. And I doubt the dust will settle in '24. Its going beyond that.

I'll be getting mine in the next day or two. Prices are creeping down slightly but eventually supply will tighten.

I am fascinated by this Iowa team. It is an accomplishment of almost heroic proportions for a team to go 10-2 and play for a conference championship with statistically the least productive offense in the sport. If the officials in the Minnesota game don't screw the Hawkeyes out of a game-winning punt return, this team would be 11-1 and going into this Saturday's game with an outside chance of making the College Football Playoff.

The Broyles Award finalists were announced today, and it's a good list. Sherrone Moore is a finalist, and he'd certainly have a case to win the award for what he's had to do this year. Will Stein at Oregon and Mike Denbrock at LSU have coached outstanding offenses, and they'd be worthy recipients. But what Phil Parker has done at Iowa this season almost defies belief. Having to coach every game knowing you're going to get next to no help from the other side of the ball and somehow getting your team to win nearly every game(even if the Big Ten West was unusually lousy this year)...that's just incredible.

I hope Michigan is taking this game as seriously as they've taken the last couple of Big Ten championship games. This looks lopsided on paper, but it can be dangerous playing a team this weird. Take them out of the game early, because the longer Iowa can hang in a 13-7 sort of game, the more confident they're going to be.

I think the motivation for Michigan is going to be off the scale. Because of all the in season drama, I believe the players have galvanized their resolve to win not only this game, but future games as well. And don't think that they don't know that Tony Titties is going to have to hand Harbaugh the Conference Championship trophy if they win. They know.

I still have respect for Iowa and Kirk Ferentz, although IMO, he's their version of Lloyd Carr. He's probably stayed a few years too long. But I can't see that offense doing any real damage to Michigan. Maybe had Cade McNamara avoided the injury thing, along with Erick All, I'd be concerned. But, without them, I just don't see a major problem They are, WHERE they are, because of their defense. They'll likely do like everyone else has done this season, and try to take away Corum and Edwards. JJ will have to step up and hit his passes.

I'm driving 4 hours each way to see this game. They won't let me down ...

Don't turn the ball over and the Hawkeyes are no threat, can't see that Iowa offense putting together more than one long drive AND getting in the endzone.

We can play our entire second string the whole game and win easily. It's just going to be a big party.

He's understandably butthurt watching the guy who took his job go 25-1 (and counting) as a starter while his team has the worst offense in the history of modern football. I would be prickly as well. FWIW, I have not seen or heard his comments.

Some including Bacon and Rico think Petitti may skip handing the trophy to Harbaugh. If he does, well he's even more of a punk than I thought.

I want to hear "WE-WANT-TONY!!" chants all 4th quarter. Rico is such a fucking moron that he was trying argue that Michigan fans shouldn't WANT Pettiti to hand off the trophy because it would take away from the players. He is the single dumbest motherfucker in the history of radio. And possibly earth.

Worth the price of the ticket, the price of parking, the gallons of gas to drive to and from the game, and the 9 total hours of driving, to see that. The only way it could be better is if Paul Finebaum HAD to be there to interview Harbaugh afterward. I intend to soak it all in.

You have to know that if Iowa somehow beats Michigan, our rivals here will be deservedly laughing their assess off. Believe me, I don't think there's a chance that will happen but its also a non-zero chance. Cart before the horse and all that.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

It’s the closest to 0% I’ve ever seen. Whether Iowa will even score is even money right now.
