Yeah, it’s folly, and losing fans should stfu about the refs. It offers no relief actual or mental. Refs make bad calls, sure, but you have to play through it like the weather.
That said, there are some SEC refs that it wouldn’t shock me if they were a college football’ Tim Donaghy. At the very least, they are Angel Hernandez or C.B. Bucknor-esque.

The SEC is arguably the premiere cfb conference and we easily have the worst group of officials of any of the power 5’s (and several, maybe most, of the G5) conferences.

The field officials called it a TD, and it was confirmed on review.
The second thing to look at in that picture is where the ball is. The first thing you have to ask is, who has posession of the ball? Wilson has both hands on the ball, and is hugging it to his body. If that is not full posession, then Wiz is the dad of 5 male offspring.
Posession over the goal line. TD. Dead ball. Anything after that is ignored. Line up for the try.
The ohio player might have a mini-valid gripe if that ball is out on the 50 yd line. That's where that stupid "complete the process" crap comes into play. Not so in the endzone.
The ohio player should look in the mirror to see who is at fault for losing that game. You win as a team, you lose as a team. Get over it, and move on.

Liney, possession over the goal line from that still photo and that angle isn’t a slam dunk. Further, his knee could plant, he’s down, then he pivots his torso/arms/ball forward, and then crossing the goal line, which would be M ball at the 1-foot line or what we. Now a video could probably confirm it, but it’s not obvious from a still photo from that angle for someone who didn’t see the game and Is too lazy to go to YouTube and look it up.
We won’t have to worry about it in the M-UA game. Michigan will be up too many points for it to matter.

The reason Denzel Burke is upset is because he believes be intercepted the pass. Well, NOPE. The knee being down was never really an issue as he was lunging into the endzone anyway. The ball was over. The review was to ensure he maintained control but Denzel “Fucktard” Burke thought he should get an INT after the fact as both players were lying in the endzone.
