I just finished watching the replay of the game.

It was another gut wrenching, 'great for the winner' and 'sucks for the loser' game in this series. I've seen a lot of slugfests in this series, and this one today is added to that list.

Some initial reactions:

Those OSU DB's are as good as advertised. So is Harrison. He's the one that scared me the most. If he gets teamed up with a great QB in the NFL, he's going to have a HOF career.

Corum. Gritty ballgame, tough guy.

OSU was determined to make sure #7 didn't beat them this year. He didn't, but his team did. Nice strategy, but not enough.

Zack Zinter - I hope they can fix you up good as new, man. You're one of the reasons why Michigan is where it is today.

I'm going to the Big Ten Championship game. Its on my bucket list, and I figure I ain't getting any younger. I'll pack my walking cane, and hobble to the game. I doubt M will be there again any time soon.

No Harbaugh, .. no Stalions, .. no sign stealing ...no cheating. Just a good tough football game, won by Michigan.

If anyone ever tries to tell me that Fox Sports announcers Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt are "fair and unbiased", then please don't speak to me anymore. Just stop. There is no discussion. Klatt was still crying in the 4th quarter about the endzone call THAT WAS REVIEWED AND UPHELD. You have a problem with the zebra in the booth, Joel? Tell them about it.

And I am so done with video reviews anyway. Micro-officiating was never, ever the intent of replay when it was approved. It was instituted to fix errors. And OSU fans should be upset about video review as well. I'm at the point where I'd like to see it discontinued, and let the field officials calls stand. Good or bad. Deal with the bad ones and fire the bad officials. Reward the good ones.

Harbaugh is back next week, and for where-ever Michigan goes from there. Kick some ass, Coach. Ferentz and his AD were likely in on the conspiracy that got you suspended. No mercy. I don't usually have much bad feeling towards Iowa, .. their fans are usually pretty cool, but they need their ass kicked next Saturday.

I'm starting to like this kid James Turner .. (K) from Saline MI. It makes losing Jake $$ Moody a bit easier to take. That 50-yarder was a boomer, right down the middle. Its nice to have a kicking game that isn't a major drama.

And finally, FU Paul Finebaum.. Kiss my fat, hairy, Michigan ass.

Not sure if the broadcast corrected your previous observation, but this was the weakest “Scarlet Takeover” that I can recall. By my estimation, it was barely 10%- which is about half of what it usually is. Considering that this was a pretty fair Thanksgiving Saturday and there was a real chance to stick it to those Dirty.. Fucking.. Cheaters, I’d have have to say that their fans aren’t as tough as their third baseman thinks they are, either.

Yeah, since viewing the game, I could see that the rest of the stadium was well covered by M fans. I didn't like seeing so many red shirts at the tunnel entrance. That was what I saw before I left the house. Still, I don't like M fans selling their tickets to just anyone. If you're going to sell, make every effort to sell them to M fans. Especially don't help the bucknuts. Ye gads ...

Zak Zinter's mother posted an update on her son's condition. He broke both bones in his lower leg(tibia and fibula) and was in surgery at the time of her post.

Maybe a team will take a chance and draft him anyway, as long as the post-surgical prognosis is good?

Maybe he’s a fit for my Detroit Lions considering Brad Holmes’ draft strategy of drafting talented + injured prospects. Levi Onwuzurike, Josh Paschal, Jameson Williams, and Hendon Hooker.

As for M at RG going forward, it appeared that Barnhart transitioned well to being moved inside. Avoid his weakness of speed off the edge.

Zinter will be 5 months removed from surgery. He should be well into his recovery and I suspect his medicals will be scrunitized. I doubt he does any running but he will be at the combine. Training camps will be 3 months later. I can see him being placed on PUP to start TC but I would be surprised if he gets placed on IR to start the season. If the medicals check out it probably only costs him 1-2 rounds. so like a 3rd rounder now.
