  • I wish I had the courage of my convictions and bet a small portion of my risk capital. GO BLUE!

The McCord INT that gave up the first TD of the game. Otherwise, these two teams played very evenly today IMO. Turnover margin ended up being a huge difference!

Prayers to Zak Zinter too. Looked serious.
That injury swayed momentum back to M late in the 3rd Q. M was fired up to win it for their captain.

      • Great game on both sides. Next year we might 8-4 but that is next year.

Here is hoping Zinter's injury is less serious than it looked it.

Let's make it clear Moore is the heir when Harbaugh is done. Being the HC, Offensive coordinator AND O-Line coach the last three weeks is a hel of a learning opportunity.
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

            • All-time classic!
Considering my introduction to this rivalry was Ohio State winning 15 of 16… winning 3 in a row feels weird.

I realize Sam Block is one of the more delusional homer sports fans out there, but please tell me this actually isn’t a controversy… He circled Rod Moore’s right arm and thinks it’s the ball… 🤣

              • Wow what a game! That's was a total heart attack game, on the edge of my seat the entire time. Total rollercoaster all the way through. we'd get up by a score, and they would come storming back. Two great teams, just slugging it out - it was very even. I though we were toast after the first big pass on osu's last drive. We gave them too much time and Moore got a bit conservative on the last series trying to salt the game away. But a great gritty win by the boys! Loved the way that Sherrone called out Harbaugh in the post game interview. Hope Zinter makes a full recovery, that looked bad. But loved the way the boys rallied for their captain.

                GO BLUE!

                • I thought Ryan Day's decision at the end of the first half was strange. He had time and a timeout to at least get closer for the field goal try. I realize it was fourth down, but Ohio State was moving the ball well at the time, and that was a big ask of a kicker who'd never made one from that distance. That was probably the only game management issue I had with either team in the game. Michigan's last play-call before kicking to go up 30-24 was less aggressive than I would have liked, but I understood it.

Yea, I feel bad for Zinter, good to see him pumping up the crown while injured - the next play Blake takes it to the house!

3rd and 6 - You had to run it there, make Ohio use their TOs

                      • Yeah, but I would have liked something more to the outside, where either Blake or J.J. had the ability to make someone miss in space. But, it all worked out, so I'm perfectly fine with it.

Just, maybe a roll out with JJ. Can burn more time with him running around and there's a chance he'll find a lane to sneak in for a 1st down. Instead of the run in the middle of the pack.

I thought they would have JJ roll out RPO

                            • I was thinking JJ might pull it and run, but yea it worked out.

Sherrone Moore just beat Ohio in the biggest of The Game - I still can't believe it.

This was the last all-or-nothing game between these teams. Next year the 12-team playoff ruined it.

Nah. They will just have to meet in the Playoffs is all.
