. It's not encouraging elsewhere wrt osu's passing game but that characterization applies specifically under one circumstance: If Honda McCord isn't under pressure most of osu's possessions, M is going to lose.
That is where I'm at with this match-up, I'm not sure M can get into the backfield often enough (I haven't watched a ton of the Buckeys TBH since Penn State) to slow down Harrison, Egbuka, etc.. Even if M can limit the run game and force the Buckeyes into throwing the ball 30 times, I'm not confident in M's ability to slow down Honda McCord who is probably an average QB albeit with elite talent around him. M has to get a lot of pressure; blitz without exposing themselves, and limit the Buckeyes converting on 3rd downs AND not give up the big play...

JJ and Michigan for that matter can't give the ball away, Michigan can't lose the turnover battle.

    24-23 Michigan

Vegas thought it was a good idea to bring the Raiders to town.

Credit to the poster from mgoboard who embedded a great YouTube video of Joel Klatt's break down of M v osu. The graphics alone are worth watching it. There's a second link to Joe Klatt's Monday Morning show where he talks in more general terms about the "The Game."

        Important Points;
        • osu is peaking. The emergence of TreVeyon Henderson has changed osu's offense, taking pressure off Kyle McCord
        • osu's defense has fundamentally the same from 2022 with one major difference - cover 0 has been replaced by cover 1. There is always a S to clean things up if a ball carrier gets to the 2nd level
        • M has 2 major issues - the OL, specifically the LT position. Backend coverage on D. Not scheme related but rather execution and skill levels.
        • M's offense, compared with the mid-season offense, particularly PSU, was very different w/o Roman Wilson and OL depth. Expect a much better performance from the skill players v. osu with Wilson back, Barnhart moving back to RT and L Henderson returning to the LT position.
        • I'm probably looking for reasons that M might lose this game but Klatt's analysis definitely favored osu when reading in between the lines.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

About to trip off to friends for Thanksgiving feast but not before I have read every article pertaining to this Saturday's game. The most damning one, hands down, is the Maryland UFR Offense. JJ was bad. Not a little bad but really bad. He made multiple bad reads. According to Brian, who did the UFR, this was JJ's worst performance of the season - yes, worst than his 3 INT game v. BGSU.

Brian didn't mention this but JJ is not himself with Harbaugh MIA. There's also a harmful critique of Moore's game plan and play calling. Harbaugh is involved in the game planning so, ????? All of this is a very bad predictor of an M loss to a peaking osu team. If you are depressed as I am over the team, the scandal and missing Harbaugh, don't read Brian's UFR.

The Big Ten fix is in. This is part of the punishment that the coaches and AD's wanted.

No Harbaugh for OSU game = easy OSU win.

Its what the conference wants, and thanks to the idiotic media, its what the country wants.

Start buying your CCG tickets, osu fans. You're guaranteed a berth thanks to the Big Ten Conference.

Michigan's JV team will be playing in the Gator Bowl. None of those NFL eligible guys are going to play in the post season.

You should be pleased, Wiz. Michigan and Harbaugh is going to get what they deserve.

Dirty cheaters, .. and all that.

Watching the Lions game, (I should know better by now) and I'm suspecting the same thing on Saturday. Lions have no idea what to do next.

OSU player Denzel Burke 'guarantees' a OSU victory over Michigan.

And as if that wasn’t enough motivation for both teams, Buckeyes star corner Denzel Burke has now taken things to an even higher level, all ostensibly guaranteeing a victory over the No. 3 Wolverines. “I’m very emotional,” Burke said. “I’m trying not to get too out of character, but this game means a lot for us. And we’re gonna get it done for the state of Ohio.” However, Burke wasn’t done there. Instead, he would go on to tell the media that ‘nothing’ about the Wolverines stood out to him on film, and that the Buckeyes were going to head into Michigan Stadium with a ‘villain’ mentality. “Nothing,” Burke said. “We’ve just got to go out there and do our job and really compete and play hard for each other. We’re gonna be the villain walking in there and this game is really about respect for us. Especially my class, the last two years, we haven’t gotten it done. No gold pants. So, we’ve got to go there and just be us.”

I think its going to be similar to Lions v Packers with osu assuming GB's role.

I watched a video of Urban Meyer yesterday where he flatly stated that there is no way he would have agreed to accept a suspension for "the game".
