M was 3/12. Their worst 3rd down conversion % this season. They were 3/3 on 4th down conversions.
JJ made plays, McCord didn't. Difference in the game right there.

Yeah, but 3 of those failed 3rd down conversions got enough enough yards to set up a 4th and very short. And, as luck would have it, they were in plus territory so it was an automatic go for it.

I have tried to find a link or a video, but I'm told that there was a moment during the game right after Zinter was injured, when the OSU player that was involved, was standing off to the side, and was obviously feeling badly about what happened to Zinter. A Michigan assistant noticed him, and went over and told him Zinter was going to be fine.
