Like said before, Frames Janklin alone is worth 7-10 points for PSU's opponent.

Michigan's O-Line is not as good as the last 2 years, especially the way the tackels have played, they get burned regularly. people are saying " What's wrong with Edwards - he doesn't have holes you can drive a bus threw that's what, (and could break a few tackles).

Penn State has a great D-Line and leads the Nation in sacks (?) this will be a low-scoring game JJ will have to run, Michigan was saving him last game and he was still getting hit. Toss -up

M pulls away for a 30-19 win. Be ugly for awhile. 16-9 at half or something like that.
        Shut the fuck up Donny!

The outside drama has to have a negative impact at some point. We can talk about how this might galvanize the team and serve as a motivating factor and and there might be some truth to that. But with Harbaugh's suspension hanging over their head, I can't imagine that isn't a distraction in a bad way.

Edwards has made no yards on his own this year. He doesn't juke, stiffarm, or truck guys. He doesn't pass the eyeball test anymore. I'm glad that he can still catch passes but sooner or later teams are going to figure out how to cover him, since he isn't a run threat when he's in there.

He has had some good 8-9 yard runs and some pass catches, but hasn't broken the first tackle once this year. I know the holes are not there, but this is the reason Mullings is getting more carries this year.

Mullings is legitimately better than Edwards at this point, I think. Benjamin Hall impressed me in mop-up duty more than the starters this year.

I like how they've been using Edwards as a receiver.

As a runner yes, I still think Don will show up better here, especially in the pass game.

Agreed on Mullings and Hall. They run hard and hit the line with a burst of speed.

I guess the good news about this discussion is that we won't crater as badly next year, since the running game performance is already pretty mediocre. I expect Edwards to be back.

Shit even Corum could take a fifth year if he wants. I doubt that the NFL will be interested in him as a high pick anymore.

Mullings gives me De’Veon Smith/ Karan Higdon vibes. Some combination of the two with the power style. I hope Mike Hart has coached out the fumble question with Mullings given the position change.

The decline of Edwards is a bit suspicious, but yeah… possibly worse OLine run blocking to an extent.

UM has other running backs waiting in the wings (including Mullings) that clearly run with more authority than Edwards at this point. Move Edwards to the slot. He has demonstrated his competence as a receiver and has breakaway speed.
