Well, the good weather news is that on Saturday, the humidity will drop into the 30-40% range according to the NWS Forecast Discussion for Lincoln. If you look at the chart I posted up thread WBTs as high as the low 100s keeps Lincoln out of the red zone. Doesn't mean it won't be hot as hell - it will be but the heat isn't going to shut down the game.
Still forecasting 30mph winds out of the SW. The passing game will be a mess, FGs hard to come by. The game will be an attritional slug fest. That gives Neb, at home, some advantage as M, at it's best, has a very good passing game that is going to be mostly neutralized. The short stuff might work but you can bet Rhule will be prepared for disguising coverages and getting McCarthy confused and uncomfortable.
