I'd like to see Blake Corum run for about 200 yards rushing in the first half.

I want to see that standing ovation the first time he runs the ball.

Guess M's first play from scrimmage. ___________________

ECU is in C2-Man. M shows twins (Wilson & Johnson) TE Colston Loveland is lined up next to the RT. Edwards in the slot, Corum to JJ's left. JJ is under center and checks down, takes the snap, drops back and looks downfield. Roman Wilson is running a dig route and draws 1 of 2 DBs covering Johnson. JJ throws the deep ball to Cornelius Johnson on an out route in single coverage.

        Any questions?

Would have to imagine the ‘Philly Special’ is the most troll and entertaining first play of the season idea.

However, I will go with the obvious:
M runs up the middle with Corum for 7 yards. JJ in shotgun. Wilson and CORN Johnson at WR. Loveland and Barner at TE.

My choice of first play is way more entertaining than yours. In one of preview posts up thread I said I'll be watching for M to switch to something other than a 61/39 run pass play ratio - -last season's play calls defined an offense decidedly run oriented. This is probably Harbaugh's last season at Michigan. He wants to leave a legacy. He has the talent on offense to make the finals of the CFB play-offs and win it all. He has to use said talent to win an NC. He's not going to get there with his signature offense more suited to the NFL. This is CFB and the modern offenses in it throw the ball at a higher pass play count than run plays. Contenders like UGA are wildly efficient if you use YPP or PPP. The message for Harbaugh is let JJ throw the ball. I'm watching. M fandom is watching. Don't be stubborn, Jim.

                    Weak side counter to Corum.

Our newest school tradtiion is letting punts roll an extra 25 yards so that we can get pinned inside the 5 yard line.

Thankfully, they eliminated the clock stoppage on first downs so that we don't have to watch as many plays from scrimmage. If there's anything that college football fans hate, it's plays from scrimmage.

No way that's a legal TD. Michigan finally benefits from shitty replay officiating.

Wish that we could get one of those against MSU or in a bowl game instead of a game where we're favored by 36, but I'll take it I guess.
