  • Does M have any other real RBs? Why didn't they use them?

    • Well that sucked. Depressing because that might be the one realistic national championship opportunity I could see in my lifetime. (Too young for 1997). TCU being a weak CFP team + Georgia (/the top SEC team) might be down this season.

Choked on all levels. Didn’t see the actual loss coming even though my TCU +7.5 pick was correct.

      - McCarthy way too many mistakes.
      - Hardly any running game if you removed the 1st play of the game.
      - God awful offense inside the red zone.
      - Terrible run defense and a few blown tackles.

Sucks. Dumbassed opportunistic TCU gets to advance.

      • I'm only here to see Liney's reaction to the non-call on the targeting at the end.

And the replay official took away 7 poiints that Michigan could have used.

The on field crew got it right. Even the biased announcers along with the "rules expert" they defer to said it was a TD.

But, one guy, sitting behind a computer screen, decided to use that moment to micro-officiate.

It ended up costing Michigan badly.

Congrats Refs! You all share in the blame for the stupidity in instant replay. You've taken it from something that was supposed to be helpful in getting mistakes corrected, and turned it into an arbitrary system where one person can decide the outcome of a game, based on a whim.

Michigan probably deserved to lose. They played horribly. But one official, watching the game on a video terminal, helped to determine the outcome of this game.

          Fact.

I stopped watching in the 3rd. I didn't see the targeting call. By then, I was too disgusted to care anymore. I'm sure the officials "got it right" because they never make calls that determine the outcome of games.

Never, ever. Especially in Michigan's case.

I should have said “Congrats, TCU.” Sour grapes by me.
Hope that TCU wins the championship, but doubt it.

Not watching OSU vs Georgia because of the disappointment. Will watch the recorded version tomorrow morning if I see Georgia won. Best thing to do is bury college football until September 2023. A quality TV series or anything else is an easy substitute.

              • CFB season is over. Nothing interesting is happening until September.

Everybody else still playing can go suck eggs. Or whatever they prefer.

TCU pulls off largest upset in CFP history with win over Michigan in Fiesta Bowl

Joy has been spread throughout the college football world today.

                  • FWIW, I thought it was targeting for sure. I wasn't surprised that they didn't call it as such and I doubt that it would have mattered but it sure fit the definition of targeting.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but definitely NOT the largest upset in CFP history.
2014 Bama vs OSU? 2014 Oregon vs OSU might have been a similar spread to TCU vs M too.

Yes. We’re used to the favorites blowing out the underdogs in the CFP. Doesn’t apply to M today, unfortunately.

                            • Jim Harbaugh is a sorry ass loser bitch and like the sorry ass loser bitch that he is he can't win a post season game to save his life. That now makes four times in a row that Sorry Loser Bitch has lost a bowl game in which his team was favored. Without checking records, I'll bet that's the first time that has ever happened. I don't know. Maybe Bo was favored in his Rose Bowls before he finally beat Washington? Maybe some other coach out there is a worse choker Loser Bitch. But it's hard to imagine anyone loser bitching it up as much as Coach Sorry LoserBitch.

Fuck Jim Harbaugh and fuck this disgraceful shit. TCU was not a great team and his dumbshit coaching staff got fucked in the ass for 60 minutes, just like he has countless other times. Maybe one day Coach LoserBitch will get to face Jim McElwain in a bowl game again. Then he might have a 50% chance of winning! God knows he can't beat Jimbo Fisher or Will Muschamp, much less anyone who isn't a complete bum.

All that Texas A&M has to do to win the national championship apparently is to have Jimbo face Coach Loser Bitch in a bowl game 14 times in a row.

No. The coaching staff has complete shit for brains. Our defensive coordinator coordinated the 110th ranked defense in the country last year and gave up 458 yards per game. And Sorry Ass Loser Bitch thought that was so outstanding, he hired him to replace McDonald.
