For all intents and purposes, Michigan is basically the 1 seed.

OK, enough littering of the pre- game thread
Moneyline: TCU: (+285) | MICH: (-365)
Spread: TCU: +9.5 (-110) | MICH: -9.5 (-110)
Total: 59.5 — Over: (-110) | Under: (-110)
Odds to Win National Championship: TCU: (+1800) | MICH: (+250)
Fanduel's prediction: TCU 23, Michigan 35. I'm pretty sure, this pick comes from getting into the nitty gritty of FEI (fancy stats) which such data has become mostly paywalled. It's out there for free but hard to find.
Fanduel's recommendation is to pick the under at 59.5 (-110)Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

IMO, TCU is Purdue on steroids.
They run the hurry offense better than anyone I've seen this year. They have a QB who, when hot, rarely misses. Their WR's run good routes and they catch the ball. Their RB is at least equal to Edwards.
I think the question of the game will be which team can establish its will on the other? If M/Harbaugh can establish the grinding, clock consuming run game ending with TD's, then TCU is in trouble. If M's defense has to be on the field most of the game, chasing TCU's receivers all day, they'll pull the upset.
Both teams have nearly a month to prepare. M will likely get a handful of people back, with the exception of Corum.
No prediction yet, except to say this will not be a blowout for M.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle

We'll see if its sandbaggery or not.
I watched 3 football games yesterday. TCU v KSU, Tulane v UCF and M v Purdue.
TCU is good, regardless of their loss.
Tulane is better than advertised. I wouldn't be surprised to see them beat USC.
Purdue showed everyone the way to beat Michigan. They just didn't have the defensive bodies to make it happen. Jury is out as to whether TCU can do it.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle

9.5 seems very high to me, I would say 6.5. From what I have seen TCU like throwing the 50/50 ball a lot.
Michigan's DL is more physical than the big12 is used to, need to get to the QB even if it's not a sack to let him know. Can play a lot more safeties deep to help with this a lot of the same defensive plan. Plus Johnson needs to be in all game (dude is a monster) Green and Turner have to be better.
