You all thinking that the loss of Corum is not a huge deal is nuts. There is a night and day difference between Corum and Edwards. Corum gets yards after contact. He is an elite RB and difference maker. Edwards goes down much easier and is not in the same class. Edwards is a good back, but not near the back that Corum is. If M can open holes like they did against OSU he can have huge success, but I don't think that will happen against a team like GA.

This may not matter in the CCG, but it reduces M's chances of upsetting GA (if they get that far) significantly.

IIRC Scott Skiles was a weed conviction, but didn't he make the trek from jail right back to the court in the 80s?

Woke people would agree, no issue here. Give him a ticket and a fine, he’s learned his lesson.
I can respect that. Then again, I think also equally valid that Michigan is explicit in saying it holds student athletes to a higher standard. So be the thing you say you are. There is some hypocrisy here. Could have issued a 1-game suspension for the Indiana game.

Agreed. Might feel ok about the 2/3 matchup, but very hard to envision beating Georgia without Corum. He's the one that bends a defense, not Edwards. But there's still a CCG to win, and that should be the focus. Don't overlook Purdue. Winning the Big Ten is extremely important.

Yep. I hope the kids aren't looking past the CCG the way this forum is...

Don't count me in on that number.

I believe Michigan is going to win, but they better show up like they did last week, or Purdue will be a problem.

Michigan could rest all the starters and still beat Purdue.

                      • Thirded. Also agree with the above takes on Corum and how it lowers the ceiling re: winning the natty.

One minor upside is that by the time the semifinals roll around, Edwards' hand should be healed up to the point he can catch passes out of the backfield. That will be a nice addition to the playbook.

                        • Come on now with this hypothetical. Purdue would clearly defeat a Michigan 2nd string team. You believe in Davis Warren at QB? 🤣
M rested like 5 starters vs Illinois and almost lost that game. Purdue defeated (@) Illinois a few weeks ago.

                            • Michigan had an off game vs Illinois and the only way the Purdue game will be within 3 scores if they stb again. I don’t see it happening.
