Undefeated Alabama was easily a better team than Florida in 2009.

As infuriating as that game was, to give Sparty their due, that may have been Dantonio's best team.

Purdue starting OL Spencer Holstege quote regarding Michigan v Purdue:

"There is no pressure on Purdue,” Holstege said. “Everyone has us getting beat. We can go in there relaxed and do their thing. All the pressure in on Michigan for them to win and advance to the playoffs. I know we are going to be big underdogs, but I think sometimes Purdue plays pretty well when they are the underdog as they showed in 2018 when they beat Ohio State when they were No. 2 and last year when they beat No. 2 Iowa and No. 3 Michigan State.

Michigan has to stay focused. Those guys believe they can win.

Agreed. The Boilers won't be an easy out. Jeff Brohm has yet to lose to a Top 5 ranked team at Purdue.

Iowa said the same things last year.

This Michigan team isn't the same one that existed pre-2021.
Last year, Michigan was happy just being there. There are bigger goals this year. It will be a SHOCKER if they lose sight of those goals on saturday.

Correct. Michigan will be ready to play come Saturday. Couple things to remember about Harbaugh's Michigan teams. 1.) They RARELY lose to an inferior team, if ever. For all of JH's shortcomings the first 5 years of his tenure, losing to clearly inferior opponents wasn't one of them (only two exceptions off the top of my head are that South Carolina bowl game and Iowa in 2016). The problem was beating the top tier programs and rising above MSU and now OSU. 2.) He mercilessly beats the brakes off weak opponents.

This will be a blowout or at least a comfortable win.

Losing to MSU last was losing to an inferior team. UNL almost beat you and we had no biz being on the same field as you. But that being said...this game is a mis fuhking match. Huge.

Well, Sparty was 11-2 with the Doak Walker winner. We still should have won the game but that was not a "clearly inferior" team. I'm talking about the 4,5,6 loss (or worse) types. Generally speaking, he hasn't shit the bed in those games and I don't see that changing on Saturday night.

                          Yes. They were inferior.

Fair enough. Count it as a bad loss for Harbaugh for losing to shitball MSU.

Just realized that we haven't played Purdue since 2017. That's the day John O'Korn came in to save the day. Lol. Michigan won 28-10 in WL.
