I think he saw the college elite teams - pass-uptempo-game and thought that was the way to go. Then realized that was not his game, and went back to his roots of smashmouth football and it took some time.Last edited by WingsFan; November 28, 2022, 06:50 PM.

In 2009, Harbaugh embarrassed Pete Carroll 55-28. After scoring an extra touchdown in garbage time, Harbaugh was confronted by Pete Carroll at the post game handshake. Pete Carroll asked him --Harbaugh replied -- "what's your deal"?
The day that Harbaugh was hired, I was praying for a "What's your deal?" game. Almost eight years after the press conference where he was introduced, we finally got our Harbaugh signature win. And he did it without our best players on both sides of the ball (Morris, Corum).
We got our "what's your deal?" game Saturday.
First, RFD 'may' have said, "I hope the B10 has a mercy rule were going to put a 100 on them".
Last year after the game Harbaugh said the 3rd base quote after beating osu at home as an underdog.
Everybody knew RFD was pissed about the loss and the nuts had that and the 3rd base line for revenge at home.
Then the underdog (again) Michigan go down there and hammers #2 team even worse and plants the M Flag on the Bucknut O at midfield
To top it off, Harbaugh says wants the Flag displayed in Michigan’s museum
Good Times !!

Well, I posted it wasn't a fake punt. Starting with CGVT, none agreed with my take.
It actually wasn't run as a fake punt but it was supposed to have been. The players just didn't run it?? Here's Brian Cook's take. Pretty funny:
"Only one incident of note. Fake punt inception:- Michigan knows OSU has a fake punt and has a defense to stop it.
- OSU decides to run the fake punt.
- Michigan forgets to use their defense to stop it.
- OSU forgets to run the fake punt.
- Michigan does not block the suddenly not-fake punt.
It's a fake-fake."
I think the reason anyone that studied that play and didn't jump on a hot take saying it was a fake punt is because osu didn't run that play as a fake punt. They were supposed to but "forgot."
Hilariously funny. talent is not laughing.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
