M has 10 rush yards. The only thing that has kept M in this game is some overly aggressive blitz calls by Knowles. M's pass D in combination with McCarthy's roll-out success is holding up in an OSU D that doesn't have the CBs to put them on an island in 1 high coverage where that S bites on the PA.
M's receivers aren't good enough to win a shootout that McCarthy, at this point in his career, probably isn't up to that level. WIthout some semblance of a run game, an M win is hard to invision.
The big number for me is holding OSU under 425. With OSU already gaining 315, that's going to require Minter to win both remining quarters, keep OSU under 30 and give M's offense a chance to score 13, tie it up and have something weird break for M in the closing minutes.
