Michigan has bigger things to do this year than listen to little brother say the tunnel was too narrow and Jaden McBurrows shouldn't have been skipping.

Nothing changes about the tunnel. It's been like that for 95 years and will be like that for another 95. If there's weaponized hooting now, so be it. It's not up to Michigan to respond like functional adults when someone does something mildly annoying. This our vibe now. Take the L, and get the fuck out of our tunnel.

This is probably the ABC/ESPN camera that Harbaugh eluded to. Pretty egregious. There's several helmet swings. I still haven't been able to tell who was swinging the helmet but 14 from MSU jumped into the fray and seemed to pin Green against the wall. 14 is then whisked away by a teammate. Tuck enters the locker room and punches the door at 1:45 of the video about a minute after the beating ends which makes it unlikely that he didn't know what was going on up the tunnel ahead of him.

EDIT: It is 14, Khary Crump, from MSU that was beating Green with his helmet. 4 was also involved.

Valenti is a hard-core Spartan slappy, but his primary purpose is to rile up the Detroit/SE MI fanbases. It's pretty easy with the pro teams, because they usually suck. You can't really defend the Lions, for example. He claims to be fair with his beloved Sparty, but he's really just their support animal. When it comes to Michigan, he just likes to piss them off. He's successful with getting reactions from all of them and that's why 97.1 keeps paying him.

I sure hope so. And I'm pleased that Warde hasn't as dopey as usual about this. There's a time and a place to stand up for your own people. But I'm not taking it for granted that he doesn't cave to nonsense whining about this.

If people keep bellyaching about the tunnel, I think M should go ahead and make a separate field entrance for the visiting team. Create a hallway about 6' wide, with a single door leading to the field. Make it small enough so that the team has to go single file out and in the door to use it. Make it impossible for two people to walk side by side.

The door to the field would only cost Michigan about 20-30 seats, tops, and it could be placed just north of the current tunnel.

That should take care of Franklin's bellyaching, and keep sparty out of the way of the home team.
