It's the tunnels fault. In our strenuous times with mental health problems on the rise there is no reason to provoking more tensions with a tunnel that meets two opposing rivals.

Tucker is a punk. He has some real problems on his hands in east landfill, and if he's worth all that money he signed for he needs to be asking lots of questions and looking at lots of video this morning. They say players take on the personality of their coach. If what we saw both on the field after the game, and in the tunnel later are indications of how Tucker is coaching his kids, then he needs to be fired.

msu has always craved the attention and approval of Michigan fans and players. msu players took a giant step backward last night. As an institution, they should be embarrassed and humiliated today. And I'm not even talking about the scoreboard. At this point what the scoreboard said is so far down the list of priorities its silly to even refer to it. There is a culture of poor sportsmanship and thuggery that has been tacitly approved of over there for some time now. It was started by D'antoni, perpetuated by Narduzzi, and continues today under Tucker. If there are any grown ups within the msu administration, they better take control starting TODAY.

You guys can mock us all you want today. Tucker deserves no respect for anything today. His 2-1 record vs Michigan has manure all over it today. Its totally worthless.

Hundreds of opposing teams, coaches, game administration people, marching bands, etc., have used that tunnel for nearly a hundred years. And for some reason THIS year its a "problem". Woody Hayes, as much as he was despised at Michigan, brough his teams to Michigan Stadium, used that same tunnel and locker room, and did so without attacking Michigan players following the game.

One of the M players that was attacked has a broken nose. He was a player who didn't even play. He was still on the injured list. Now, he's injured even more.

Has there ever been a game where a group of 10-12 Auburn players attacked an Alabama player and seriously injured him?

Have you seen the video? This was no "scuffle". It was a mugging and a beating by thugs.

MSU and Tucker are getting national coverage. Not the kind they might want. Just Google any combination of M, MSU, tunnel. Wade Manuel is pictured speaking with Ann Arbor Assistant Police Chief who issued a statement this morning that besides internal investigations, this is also a criminal investigation that we are taking seriously.

I'm somewhat with you on this but I'd take it a bit further. I'm not outraged. I simply expect accountability.

motional game with post game emotions high understood. However, the problem for me is that stuff like this, the outrageous behavior of some players and fans at sporting events, has become an issue that is increasing in number of these events. There should be costs and accountability for such behavior.

In this case, it should be easy to identify which MSU players struck M players in the tunnel post game. They should be suspended from the team on Monday, criminal charges and a criminal investigation pending. MSU should suspend Tucker for some period. A strong message needs to be sent to all of CFB, there are consequences for unsportsmanlike conduct that approaches or actually is criminal conduct.

If you didn't watch the end of the game, HARBAUGH!!!! did everything he could to humiliate Sparty. Starters were in. Reverse passes. Deep throws. And JJ, who always talks shit, talked before the game about how they wanted to humiliated them. Things were always going to be really salty. It was ramped up to a full-on 10. So, there's some context. I haven't a clue who initiated shit -- the tunnel at M stadium is ridiculous, btw -- but, I imagine it wouldn't have taken much.

So, M fans may say that the 2 times Tucker has pimped HARBAUGH!!!! don't mean a thing, but man, HARBAUGH!!!! sure took it personally.

Anyway, I'm with you -- I'd suspend all players on film a game.

There's also footage of the teams being separated at the end of the game. Sparty being ushered into the tunnel and M going to celebrate and, for some unknownr reason, Andrel Anthony not going with the team, but instead skipping up the tunnel amongst the MSU team. I would be shocked if he wasn't talking shit. Now, he should be allowed to skip and talk shit amongst Sparty w/o getting roughed up. No doubt. But, I've seen better choices made....sort of a textbook example of the Fuck Around Find Out theorem.

Has there ever been an assault similar to what we've seen in available to the public post MSU/M video between M and osu players - ever? Has an osu HC ever pimped an M coach and has an M coach ever pimped an osu coach? Are emotions high in The Game?

Look, excusing the shit that went down post game yesterday in any form ignores the kind of accountability and punishments that tend to tamp this kind of stuff down. It's becoming more and more frequent and adults need to step in and take action to stop it.

Well, Luke Witte got the bejesus beat out of him in Minnesota in 1972 (I think) by Dave Winfield and others. I mean, career-ending shit (mostly). There wasn't much done. Certainly no criminal charges. So, it wasn't really similar -- it was much worse. M players also went after Donte Wilson 9 years ago. That wasn't worse.

I remember a M basketball coach literally punching someone. No criminal charges.

The Spartan players involved should be suspended. 100%. That's easy. Andrel Anthony can as big as ass as he wants to be and still shouldn't get assaulted.

However, there is context. It wasn't like this shit just fell out of the sky.

So, if you want to stop this shit you (a) punish the people who are directly at fault; and (b) look at how to stop stop the potential from happening.

We, as human beings, make decisions every day to avoid risk. If walk through the west side of Baltimore at 1am and get my beaten, then the dudes who did are still fucking criminal. BUT, my family and friends would sure as hell tell me not to do that shit again.

It wasn't Andrel Anthony. He shares the number 1 with Jaden McBurrows, who is the kid that got hurt. McBurrows has been on the injured list since last winter, when he underwent surgery for an ACL. He still is not cleared to play, and did not participate in the game yesterday.

But I guess he deserved to get the snot beat out of him for whatever he MIGHT have said.
