    • Hardest they hit all night.

But seriously 8 MSU dudes attacking one? This is unacceptable … multiple players force one opposing player to the ground, taking shots… you can see no.18 Young throwing closed fists punches… what a disgrace… I guess we will find out more later. I have seen other videos, I thought Mel Tucker changed the thug culture over at EL maybe I was wrong about him.

      • M's good but not elite. It's hard to say if the passing game issues are on McCarthy, play design and in game calls or a less than quality receiver group. Hoping mgo UFR answers some questions on this. Its possible that the offensive coaches don't trust McCarthy to make the right reads, not force the ball or not do something stupid trying to make a play. A guy with a lot of hype and a lot of talent just isn't progressing.

It's also possible that Harbaugh doesn't feel he needs to throw the ball when he's got a dominating run game and is cuffing his OCs - the RZ TD problem could be reflective of that viewpoint but, IMO, it's past the point of not trying more innovative play calling inside the 20 when it's pretty clear defenses have got whatever running plays are being called there by M, they've got them covered. Defenses can afford to sell out to defend running plays when McCarthy's legs or arm aren't a threat with goal to go.

It's a win and the stats demonstrate it was a dominating one on both sides of the ball but unsatisfying thinking ahead to osu Even if that miraculously turns into a win for M, getting to the CFP and winning one there against other SEC teams that are likely to get there is a real long shot.

Right now, based on what I see, M can't beat osu without a passing game that can be employed to respond to stroud's big play capability. CRD can bury M under a barrage of big passing plays.that facilitate or produce TDs. Unless M (that would be McCarthy, his receivers and the coaching staff) all of a sudden develop a threatening passing game, M won't get to the BTCG let alone the CFP.

For those asking, the Michigan Ja'Den McBurrows. McBurrows, who suffered a torn ACL last December, did not appear in Michigan's first seven games, and I didn't seem him play tonight. Might be why he was in the tunnel "early," if that's the situation.

            • I'm going to hold my comments on this until I read more about this. First impression is that McBurrows was leaving the field by himself while the rest of the team was out celebrating. I'm holding comment because I want to be sure that McBurrows didn't actually instigate the mugging.

But if they just grabbed him and started whaling on him, then some spartys need to be arrested before they can get out of town.

              • If there's not some suspensions from either MSU or the Big Ten front office of the MSU players that assaulted 2 M players in the tunnel after the game (not sure who both are - McBurrows is reportedly one of them) both organizations lose all credibility - not that MSU had any to begin with. Check the fucking score board fuckers. YOU LOST.

Moreover, if I'm an MSU regent I'm asking Tucker WTF?. Are you in charge of this team or not? Looks like to me, you've not instilled the kind of respect for the game and it's players that we expect of you. This is CFB not the mean streets of drug infested inner cities filled with armed criminals looking to hurt someone. Wait, MSU regents are all on the take along with Whitmer.

                Shameful.

                • They just showed a post game video of Tucker saying "I don't know what happened, so I can't comment".

Mister, they pay you 10 Million Dollars a year to KNOW what your team is doing. You better get on it. I'll give him the benefit of a doubt that he's telling the truth, but its also his JOB to get on this, and find out what happened.

And I agree with Jeff. MSU Regents need to look into this ASAP. They need to haul Tucker onto the carpet on SUNDAY and ask a whole lot of questions.

                  • And before we blame "the tunnel", lets remember that football has been played in that stadium with THAT tunnel for nearly 100 years. Both teams have shared that tunnel for all that time.

Now all the sudden the tunnel is a problem?

                    • I suppose it's possible the McBurrows taunted MSU players when they entered the tunnel behind him. That would have been stupid. There's going to be more video angles from security cameras, not some guys iPhone. Hopefully, as fans we'll know what started this thuggery or if an M player instigated it in some way inviting a mugging. Even then, an M player was physically assaulted resulting, if JH's comment is correct, in a "nasal injury." That's enough for the injured player to initiate a charge that Ann Arbor police will have to investigate. meanwhile, there WILL BE an investigation involving the BIG - Harbaugh has apparently lodged a complaint that the BIG will have to look inot.

Whatever the outcome, I hope we know what it is. If MSU is blameless or was incited, fine. If not, it SHOULD not be a secret and the press should be all over shaming Tucker and MSU.

                      • Warde Manuel said he's already spoken to the B1G Commissioner.

Harbaugh also said the Ann Arbor Police and the State Police are investigating. This could get really nasty.

                        • ....... or it could get buried for any number of reasons, not the least of which an M player started it. and we'll never know what happened.
