If Michigan Stadium ever has another remodeling project, they need to create a separate entrance for the visiting team.

And James Franklin is still an idiot. Harbaugh takes a lot of crap (some justified) for not getting enough out of his players. He's beginning to turn the page on that story. In fact, in 2022, there is no other coach in the B1G who gets less out of his good players than James Franklin. He's out recruited Michigan several times in the last 5-6 years, but has only 1 win at Michigan Stadium, and that was the Covid year. He is 3-6 vs Michigan. He has 1 win vs OSU.

Give the man more money. Stay the course.
Things never really change. Franklin and his coaches never adjusted to UM's running game and kept 6 in the box all game. Stubborn. Also, they get shit canned again on the road at UM. I felt they would agin why did anyone think different.

    • The Fox people kept saying the way to stop Michigan was to "make McCarthy carry the team". I think the door to that being a good strategy is starting to close. The kid is getting better with each game. McNamara (IMO) is not going to get the job back.

I believe McCarthy has thrown two (statistical) interceptions, but I don't think either have been bad balls. I haven't seen a defender successfully step in front of a pass and actually intercept it. His INT's have been tips and deflections. His feet preserved at least 3 drives that I remember yesterday.

Of course the REAL QB in the Big Ten lives in Columbus. He can book his hotel reservations at The Ritz, and call the caterer for the post-Heisman award celebration. Everyone else is a pretender.

Franklin is a dick. Harbaugh is no longer the most under-achieving coach in the B1G. That is firmly on Franklin now. He has scads of good talent on his team, especially in the trenches. I think if he loses badly to OSU (highly likely) his butt will be on fire in HV.

It makes you wonder why they didn’t just do what Indiana did. Especially since PSU has NFL prospect corners.

                • Franklin just signed a massive 10 year contract last year. They’re stuck with him for a while

                  • Penn State should end the Clifford experiment. Mediocre or subpar starting QB that’s held them back in recent years. M went through that with QBs between 2015 to 2020. No idea what to say about their defense. Dumpster fire despite the talent.

M moved up to #3 in the COACHES poll ranking. Surprised!
                    Slightly ahead of Tennessee.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                        • Anyone else have flashbacks to 1997 (at Happy Valley). Same sideline - This is when Clifford got injured.

Either that or a big fat buyout check.

Serious guess on my part would be either Tom Allen or Kirk Ferentz. Its too early for Harbaugh to call his own team number 1
