And just like that, and for the 2nd week in a row, Michigan takes the opening drive, on the road, and scores a TD.

It doesn't matter that its "just Indiana" or "just Iowa". Its on the road, against a team hoping to pull an upset. And it puts them behind right from the git go

This is not like most Michigan teams I've seen. They are usually very tentative in starting these games.

This defense isn’t good enough to play man defense, they act like they didn't know what IU was going to do. So much for improvement vs fast offenses, bettter make some adjustments.

Defense was absolutely abysmal on that second drive. Playing in the parking lot against a team with a terrible OL and giving up easy 8 yard completions.

That is not worth 15 yards and an automatic first down.

Its just not.

Considering how good JJ is supposed to be we are frustratingly bad at converting 3rd and longs. That's two really shitty plays on 3rd and 8 or more.

It's a close call. Not out of line with what refs tend to call around the country. If you're Harrell, you can't give the refs that chance.

Defense sucks abysmally today. Mind blowingly bad.
