27-7 the likely final... Iowa defense actually pretty good, 27 points not a bad result... McCarthy final numbers solid, played within himself instead of forcing things that may not have been there.

27-14 is your final. It got uncomfortable there for a while, but Michigan gets the win at Kinnick. As I said, not perfect, but good enough.

I'll take the "W" any time at Kinnick. I've seen too many excellent Michigan teams fall to defeat there against inferior Hawkeye talent.

I loved the gut check defensive series at the end. Iowa had a chance to spoil the day, but Morris and the D stepped up and slammed the door.

Lots of work to do covering TE's, especially on roll outs. And the interior DL was exposed a bit in the run game. There's still work to be done.

On to Indiana next week. Should be a 3 TD+ win. Anything less than that will be a failure.
