We're getting "Army'ed" today. Terps possessing the ball, taking time, keeping it close, and now in a position to take the lead.

Defense can't tackle worth a darn. Better tighten things up.

No 40 point win today, IF we win ...

Baby Tua looks good so far. The turtle OL is getting after it too. We'll see how long they can hold up. Could be more like 38-31 game....
      Shut the fuck up Donny!

13-10, Maryland. Michigan's only stop so far is the fumble on the kickoff.

Defense is embarrassing (not enough pass rush) and the offense doesn't look good enough to win a shoot out.

Michigan's defensive line just isn't winning many physical battles up front. They're getting gashed in the running game, and they can't mount a pass rush.

D.J. Turner bails out the Michigan defense with an interception.

Michigan needs to establish control of the line of scrimmage, and depend less on J.J. McCarthy creating something on every snap.

13-10, as Jake Moody misses wide left. Just everything is a bit off for Michigan right now.

Best series for Michigan's defense so far.

The worst thing about playing a shittily coached team like Maryland is that there is always a chance that they are going to suddenly stop screwing up and shooting themselves in the foot last year. This is basically last year's third quarter, minus the Maryland penalties and other mental mistakes. Zero penalties for Maryland -- no bad goofs other than the fumble at the kickoff. Tua isn't missing wide open guys. Michigan is the one making the mistakes today -- gave them three points on the facemask, unforced fumble by Stokes, a dropped pass here and there, and a missed FG.Colson sucks. The DL looks really untalented.

I have been waiting for the other shoe to drop. Looks like that time has arrived. Back to being the old Michigan, I guess.

Corum finds the end zone on 4th and 1... Maryland's defense wasn't ready for that.

17-13, as Blake Corum finds an alley outside on 4th and one.

M gets the ball first, McCarthy's numbers look okay but he didn't look as good as his stats say... Yet he missed on every deep throw, if he hits one of them; his numbers/performance looks much better. Surprised the Turtles coverage is so good, while the pass protection is not as good as it should be.

Terps should have called a time out. Can't take them to the locker room with you. Oh well, I'll take it.

If you're into micro-officiating, the interception was actually incomplete. IMO

Michigan leads at the half, but probably doesn't deserve to. Corum and Schoonmaker have both come to play, but others, especially on defense are sleepwalking.

Turtle came to play. They didn't come to be the whipping boy.

Stokes likely won't see another snap.

Moody = money .. no more. Although knowing what this guy can do, he may not miss another FG attempt this year.

The fundamental stuff is the bugaboo for Michigan right now. Bad tackling, bad angles. But Maryland is playing a good game. That's coaching. Locksley and the Saban influence.

Come on, guys. Tighten this thing up.
