2023 B1G Challenge Standings:
19: Talent, Cody, WM Wolverine
20: Tsilsher, Mike
21:. Wizard, AlabamaAlum
23: Tom W
24: Liney
As I feared, the lack of a tiebreaker meant that 1/3rd of the participants won. It was very close at the top, 7 of the 9 were within 2 games so if the refs don't over officiate the Iowa/Gophers game that could potentially be a 2-point swing.
Talent won the B1G East at just 4 points, while WM Wolverine won the B1G West at 12 points. For comparison, the WORST anyone had the B1G West was 8-points so it played out very similar as most expected. Northwestern busted a lot of people's entries, many expecting them to win just 2 or 3 games instead of 7.
.
Check my math, addition/subtraction is difficult.

I'm not sure if I watched more than a half of a Northwestern game all season, no idea how they won 7 games other than playing in the B1G West. When your division is as bad as the B1G West, it gives opportunities for a team like NW to overachieve or Iowa to go 11-1 (that loss deserves an asterisk as minimum).
At least the B1G West is dead, Wisconsin sure benefitted from it to the max. Next season, the B1G is doing away with divisions. How many times did the B1G West win the B1G?
