Texas, Oregon, USC, Washington, Ohio State. They won't lose all five, but I think 3 is very likely.
Fresno is a tricky little opener, too. Well, maybe -- fuck if I know what Fresno has coming back. But that's actually a solid Go5 team that can be annoying. Good enough to win at Purdue and probably good enough to annoy the fuck out of an ok B10 team.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
The haters and doubters have full control over all the microphones and megaphones in this thing. Any rational thought or real facts are being pushed aside.
"The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"
In today's presser, not a single reporter asked anything about this week's upcoming game.
I'm down to just about my last gasp in attempting to support Harbaugh in here, but I will say this: Harbaugh is pretty much fighting this thing right now with both hands tied behind his back. The NCAA has slapped him and everyone within the athletic department with a gag order, not allowing to make any comments while the investigation in ongoing. So, the haters have full control of whatever message they want to put out there. Harbaugh's side of the story is meaningless and unwanted. He's been charged, tried, found guilty, and the only thing that remains is to see when the presser announcing his termination is being held.
I'll be glad when he can finally talk about this. I suspect that some additonal facts are going to come out that will surprise a lot of people. He still may be fired, (because that's what Manuel wants) but the whole story isn't out there right now, even though his haters think it is.
This could be a sports equivalent of the Babylon Bee, but this site claims to have a quote from Maurice Clarett, that actually supports Michigan in all this.
I read it and LOL'd, due to the irony. I have no idea if its authentic, but here it is for your entertainment.
“I can go back and forth with the Michigan and OSU banter,” Clarett posted. “It’s fun and comical on lots of levels. I can take the jokes about my past and all of the above…. In all honesty I think the investigation into Michigan for the hamburger, sign viewing or whatever it is is another reason for everyone to be mad at the NCAA. I’ve spoken up for Michigan in both cases. It’s actually stupid. Good scouting gets you all of the signs and signals you want. Michigan is a good football team and it’s actually healthy to have wins/loses go both ways. In all of this… realize who we all should be mad at and it’s the NCAA and it’s silly rules.”
“I had a great birthday today but wanted to say something before I went to sleep. I don’t like this thing going on with Harbaugh. It feels like the Michigan version of Tressel and the tattoos. Ruining or trying to defame these coaches after work put in to build these programs isn’t cool. The rivalry is cool to joke around with and have fun with but I wish there was a time when more coaches/public would just be vocal about how silly some of this stuff is. Idk… just my thoughts on all of it. Until tomorrow….”
